Filming for the
television adaptation of J.K. Rowling and Robert Galbraith's first crime novel,
The Cuckoo's Calling, will take place in the new year, Variety reported on Friday along with the announcement of the series' BBC One future broadcast.
The
Harry Potter author, who is currently working on the third part of the Strike series, will advise on the series. No casting has been announced yet, for lead Cormoran Strike or his associate, Robin Ellacott.
