J.K. Rowling helps save charity holiday home
 

Braendam House in Stirling, Scotland was facing the prospect of closure up until a recent undisclosed donation from J.K. Rowling's Volant Charitable Trust, a fund set up by the author to aid charitable causes.

The home offers up free holidays to poor families from Glasgow. The Lilias Graham Trust had previously issued redundancy notices as bookings for the establishment dried up.
