J.K.R. signs off: UPDATED with images Although J.K. Rowling announced the release date for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows just yesterday, she finished writing the book exactly three weeks prior. While staying at the Balmoral Hotel in Scotland, she wrote the following on the back of a marble statue in her room (No. 652): Quote:

I'm of two minds on this. 1) it's cool that she did it, and now the owners of the hotel can advertise that and charge even more for the room//floor//hotel stay. So, YAY JK for helping people make money...off you.....for free. 2) Had it been anyone else, it would have been vandalism, and we would have had to pay a lot for the cleaning. The Hotel Is Biased if they don't make her pay for it. :yes: I play the Devil's Advocate a lot. It's why everyone loves me *innocent look* |
