HP at the top of the list Down Under In an online poll, more than 23,000 Australian kids ages 5 to 17 voted the Harry Potter series their No. 1 choice of books to read. Can't say I'm surprised. |

Well, it is not surprise though we all know Hp congquer the the heart of every children and adult who reading it. |
Though I don't want to repeat what everyone ahs already said: No surprise there. The Harry Potter Series is just too popular among children (and adults) these days. Although I certainly prefer Dickens and Shakespeare over Rowling :P it doesn't mean Harry Potter isn't one of my favourite books. And it's the "in thing" these days too. Nice work Jo. :upside: Going a bit :topic: I must say that To Kill a Mocking Bird is an amazing book too. And Pride and Prejudice deserves the best - It's one of my favourite novels as well. Although as Fenlon said I wouldn't consider them children's books they aren't "adult books" either. :P It just depends on how mature you are - not how old. Maxie |
