YOUNG 'Muggles' from Belfast schools today took part in a magical Harry Potter extravaganza.
Around 180 primary schoolchildren attended a day of events centred around the boy wizard at Campbell College.
The day was due to include a falconry display, a magical science exhibition and themed tours of the Hogwarts style hallways and rooms at the east Belfast school.
A replica of the 'Flying Ford Anglia' from the Harry Potter series was also parked outside at 'Platform 9'.
The children were able to show off their Harry Potter knowledge during a quiz, with questions covering everything from 'Apparation' to 'Quidditch'.
Successful completion of the morning at 'Hogwarts' resulted in the presentation of O.W.L. - Ordinary Wizarding Levels- certificates to every child.
The aim of the day was to encourage pupils to discover the magic of literature and science through the Harry Potter Series.
Dr Ivan Pollock, headmaster at Campbell College, said: "It is good to see so many of the children enjoying themselves."
Primary schools that took part included Holywood, Belvoir, Orangefield, Strandtown and Mersey Street.
