Hi-res Deathly Hallows MTV Movie Awards preview screencaps released
 

High-resolutions screencaps from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows preview aired during yesterday's MTV Movie Awards can be found in our galleries. Amongst the scenes are Harry and Ron having a verbal and physical row in their camp tent, Voldemort waiting for Harry in the Forbidden Forest, Harry and Ginny kissing by the marble staircase inside Hogwarts, the trio running from Snatchers and at the beach by Shell Cottage, Harry hexing a Death Eater in a London cafe, and much more.

The images can all be seen here; for those interested in a repeat view of the preview, it can be seen below. Please note that this clip is not the official teaser trailer for either Deathly Hallows Part I or II, but a teaser preview released exclusively for the MTV Movie Awards.

When I saw the part when Hedwig flies, I wondered... are they not gonna kill her off, or is that an earlier scene?

As for the Harry and Ginny kiss, it looks better than the first kiss in the sixth film. Completely cute, yet a sense of urgency behind it. ^_^

As for the fight in the cafe, the part where Harry is up against the wall, and especially Ron and Harry's fight in the tent, I was speechless. Rupert has really matured as an actor and that bit definitely proves it. It looks so raw and real.

How many more days until the release? :whistle:

I totally swooned at the last pic of Dan haha! I'm loving the H/G kiss too!!! <3 Ahh! It looks so cute and much better than the HBP one. They probably figured out that they needed to make up for the other one haha. Aw Ron destroying the horcrux...crying? All the pics are wonderful! Cannot wait for more and another trailer!!! EPICNESS!!!

I love Rupert, he's such a versatile actor.

I really hope they've kept the first scenes at Malfoy Mannor, where Voldemort despatches Charity Burbage, the Muggle Studies Professor. I found that such a startling way for the story to begin and on film it would look amazing.

I saw on imbd.com that Charity Burbage is in it. So we will see!!! That trailer tease (guess thats why it is called a tease!! LOL) was just EPIC... Ron and locket, Ron and Harry fight, Ron holding Hermione ;)

EDIT: I just checked, the actress is from my part of the country too. Much older than me though.

You know what. I hope they just let Hedwig go. I hope Harry just releases her because I don't want to see her die :( I actually think it'd be better if he let her go. Just my opinion though.

You're right, but the way it's been edited is deliberately ambiguous. They don't clearly show where Voldemort is when he says "I must be the one to kill Harry Potter."

I don't take it for granted that scenes will be included in film adaptations of any book any more. Films need a certain pace that books don't and so some scenes end up being dropped or changed.

i love the vedio...but the best of all was Harry and Ron argument and fight...never saw both of them intensely disliking each other for a moment...well done...i guess the last argument must have been in GoF...:lol:...i am so eagerly waiting for the movie now...god!
