Help Rupert Grint's Cherrybomb make it into theatres
 

Rupert Grint's latest film Cherrybomb needs to secure a distributor in order for the film to be shown in theatres. We've spoken with a representative for the Little Film Company, who are working hard to get the film theatrical distribution:

Well i signed it. Little unknown, possible indy films (I am not sure) need all the help they can get because the America Media is so wack it is hard for stuff to get through.

This won't get a wide release. Indie films make more money on DVD's and airings on television. For the US that would be HBO and Showtime.

Any movie with Rupert Grint is a movie to see! *LYK OMG PLZ SIGN IT* ha.ha. I sadly don't think that the fangirl in me will ever die out even though I control much better than I used to in middle and highschool (le-sigh) haha.

besides with a title like Cherrybomb... come on, it sounds like an epic movie. (haha) ok im done.

I'm surprised the film got made without distribution secured.

I just hope Rupert Grint doesn't turn into the British version of McCully Culkin. I still love McCully Culkin, but he did one indie film and now you hardly hear from him at all. I think Rupert's a better actor than that.

It's not like the Indie film was at fault in Culkin's case. And, we certainly hope that Rupert won't be forgotten.Plus, the Home Alone series was popular, but Culkin was only a kid in it, wheras the Harry Potter films are phenomenal and Rupert is there for a longer period, which increases the exposure he gets.

Exactly. Besides, in the present financial climate, it is generally difficult to sell independent movies to distributors, so it's not just Cherrybomb that's affected. However, if lots of fans worldwide sign the petition, then the chances of securing a distribution deal for Cherrybomb will rise dramatically.

So if you are a Rupert fan, please sign this, and also spread the word - for example, if you frequent other websites or communities, post these petition links there; invite your friends and family to sign the petition; etc. :)

Got the Facebook link, signed the petition, signed, sealed delivered! Rupert gets the least appreciation from the press with regards to his other Potter costars, and it's time for that to end.
