'HBP' to be "more sex, drugs, and rock n roll" according to Yates

Sounds great. I think HBP will end up being better than OOTP. The book was anyway and had a lot more spice. Of course, the Snape parts will be the best!

:lol: I doubt it would get an 'R' rating! I'm sure what David meant was that it goes much deeper into the teenage romance issue...more than GoF did and possibly OotP.

(Although, I agree that HBP is much more intense than OotP...even if Yates was talking about emotionally.)

I just hope that they finally do Ron justice like they did in the first two films. I'm sick of Ron suddenly becoming a minor character, a character only there for laughs.

And, of course, as long as we've got R/Hr, I'm good. :D

hbp content is v adult n mature,one can imagine wht dhallows gonna have!

HBP is an intense, powerful book, everyones growing up and emotions (good and bad) are flying. I think that's what he means by "Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll"

Hmmmm im not sure about that comment.

I agree also on the fact that it's a figure of speech. I don't think he's really going to put sexual scenes, or drug-related scenes because... well... there weren't any in the book. But I think he meant that he was going to get deeper into their character because they're getting older, and deeper into the romances because they're clearer in this book than the other books.

But really, you guys shouldn't worry. David Yates is a wonderful director. I can't wait or HBP.

You've got to remember JKR started writing these books 10 years ago. Those of us that started reading them when we we're 13/14 years old (like the first book was geared for) are now in their mid twentys. It makes perfect sense for JKR to gear this later books for adults. Seeing as the first fans that were kids are grown, just like the characters are now grown...

I can't see it being rated R but much darker deeper intense, SURE.

There better be Quidditch in the HBP movie.................They've already cut it in OOTP

Well, I have expected him to say that. You definitely see a lot of romance and stuff in Half-Blood Prince.

about bloody time if you ask me. eva since i read HBP i've been dying to see H/g finally get together. Ron finally gets a little action and we get to see Hermione jelous for a change. it's gonna be the most teen drama HP movie's have ever seen. the shouting matches will rock.
