HBP to arrive on July 16th There had been concerns that copies of 'Half-Blood Prince' would arrive as late as July 23rd for those fans who ordered copies from Amazon. It has now been announced that all copies of the sixth book will arrive on July 16th for no extra charge. The book will be delivered via United Parcel Service Inc. and the U.S. Postal Service. The company will refund customers in the continental U.S. who don't receive the book on time. However, some restrictions do apply. The same announcement also applies to Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ca. Amazon.com's greed has no bounds. :lol: Obviously they realized they weren't getting as many people as they would get if the book were to arrive on time. No matter, amazon.com can say all they want... but the US mail system here sucks! They're late with everything no matter what amazon.com promises. |
Yay!!!!!! I was worried about that. I thought I will get them way later than the 16th. I guess they will be shipping a couple of days before then.... At least I can get a refund if I don't get it on time. *impatiently waiting* |

Ok... just read the restrictions. Apparently, I'M not getting it on the 16th because of the FREE Super Saver Shipping. That's just great :rolleyes:. I'm just gonna have to avoid this site (and all HP related sites) by the 16th then, and up until I get my copy. I think I'll manage... |

^ the issue is about when the pre-ordered books will arrive. yes, we all know it comes out on the 16th, but there are doubts as to when the preordered books will be sent. i juz hope i dont get mine a whole week later. i'd be so ******!! |

I been paid for my book to get here on time (meaning i paid the extra shippin) and if that book isn't at this house on July 16th me and Amazon are going toe to toe. |
