LOl!! I have been trying to make my brother read it for a year but he has developed some "Block" against them. He says he finds them boring but he loved the movies. Now that is the strangest thing I have ever heard.

My brother hates HP from the bottom of his heart. I don't know how people can hate it! Its just the best thing in the world! He dosen't like the movies or the books. Oh well, I always though and will keep thinking that he is wierd...

LOL!! Exactly how I fell about my brother. But what I can't understand is that how can he like the Movies or even understand them if he hasn't read the Books!! They aren't exactly as explicit as the books!!

that is wierd. I mean , i saw the first movie before i started reading the books and i was totally confused! I though snape was voldemort and Dumbledore was Snape!! From that day, I made an oath to read the HP books rotting away in my book shelf!

Tell me about it & silly me took him to see POA & most of the time I had to explain him what was happenning cause the movie didn't show everything that was in the book like how Lupin knew what the "Marauders Map' was?? & seriously I don't think I would bear it if I would take him to watch GOF with me. There are loads of people here in my branch of Borders read comics, books, except that they don't want you to clog up their aisles. They include chairs for people!(that read) I sorta understand why certain bookstores don't want you reading their books unless purchased. I do that too <IMG class=inlineimg title=">_<" alt="" src="http://snitchseeker.com/vb3/images/smilies/nugget.gif" border=0 smilieid="58"> when I want to. But if the books are wrapped in their package, I don't touch them (to read in the bookstore), unless I want to buy it.

I, myself, wouldn't want to buy pirated copies unless inflation is really bad and I could not afford it in ten years. Curse those people!

I like to try and read abit of a book before i read it, like maybe the first chapter, or first few pages, so I know if I will like it, like a book I never heard much about or by a new author, I cant justify spending money on something I am unsure that I well enjoy it.
