Harry Potter: the Exhibition & Deathly Hallows I DVD NYC red carpet premiere details
 

Warner Bros has announced that a red carpet premiere at New York City's Discovery Time Square will take place at 7pm on Monday, April 4, 2011 for the opening of Harry Potter: the Exhibition and DVD and Blu-ray release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.

Fans will get to see stars from the series from a special area, with risers. Those scheduled to attend include Daniel Radcliffe (as confirmed by his interview with MTV), Bonnie Wright (as confirmed by her reps to us), and many more. We can confirm that Tom Felton and Rupert Grint will unfortunately not be able to attend any of the DVD and Exhibition launch press events, due to prior commitments. We will have much more on the press events to take place this weekend to tie in with the Exhibition opening and DVD/Blu-ray release.

Rup and Tom aren't going to attend? What? :gasp: But it's been a while since their last DVD launch! Ah well, at least there's a DVD launch anyway.

Rupert is filming his new movie now :) Yeah!! But yeah it is too bad him and Tom cant go-wonder if Emma will be there in NY? It would be really nice to see all the stars of Potter be able to do the last DH promo stuff once DH 2 comes to DVD.

Wait... so will fans not be able to line up along side the Red Carpet to get stars' autographs and pictures? Are fans only going to be on these risers, above the stars?

nicee. anyone gonna be in NY today (april 4)? i'm gonna be there for the Deathly Hallows DVD-release premiere and the Harry Potter Exhibition, that's gonna happen in Discovery Times Square. anyone going...? maybe i'll see you guys there...?
unfortunately, none of my friends will be going cause, none of them are as big HP fans as i am, so i'll be going alone.. :(
