They are able to do magic and such outside of school because they are "of age" meaning they are 18 and adults now. If you read it, it says countless times in a few chapters about being "of age" to do things. (I don't have my book with me, or I'd site it)

well for one thing they passed the apparating test, and you have to pass that to apparate, it nevers says that u have to be a certain, althoughtim sure u do bcxuz it involes quite a bit of magic, but basically u just have to pass that test

and they can do magic bcuz they arent underage anymore. The law is against UNDERAGED wizardy, thats all

like i was in the 10th grade when i could LEGALLY drive, i was still in the 12th grade when i could LEGALLY buy cigarettes(i dont smoke i hate, just using it as an example).

like in the real world its all about age.its not so much if ut still in school or whatever, its how old you are.

so they can now LEGALLY do these things

The law for confiscating wands is for underage wizards just remeber this!!!!!

Fred and George are legally allowed to do magic because they are at hogwarts they cant get their wands confiscated at hogwarts if they are allowed to learn magic and do magic there

I remember reading that the legal age to apparate was 17. Therefore, they're allowed to apparate before they graduate.

did you even read ootp? in britian you are an adult when you are 17 thus the words that fred and geroge were "of age"

Duh! Because they are legally of age and they dont have to do the seventh year if they dont want NEWTS they say that they whould have not gone at all if it wasnt for Mrs Weasly goin off her nut at the mention of it
