Several
Harry Potter actors headed to Canada this week to promote some of their upcoming projects at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, including Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), David Thewlis (Remus Lupin), Rhys Ifans (Xenophilius Lovegood), and Jamie Campbell Bower (Gellert Grindelwald).
On Sunday, September 11, Rhys and Jamie promoted the premiere of their upcoming film
Anonymous (which Thewlis also costars though did not partake in promotional activities in Toronto) via a press conference, portrait session, and premiere with costars Rafe Spall (son of Harry Potter actor Timothy), Joely Richardson, Xavier Samuel.
The film, out in U.S. theatres October 28, focuses on "the theory that it was in fact Edward De Vere, Earl of Oxford who penned Shakespeare's plays; set against the backdrop of the succession of Queen Elizabeth I, and the Essex Rebellion against her." Photos from all three events can be found in our
galleries.

David was on hand to promote the premiere of his feature
The Lady with costar Michelle Yeoh. The film currently has no U.K. or U.S. release (though several international festival screenings later this year), and is about "the story of pro-democracy activist Aung San Suu Kyi and the academic and writer Michael Aris; a true story of love set against political turmoil." Photos of David from the press conference and portrait session from earlier today are below.

Finally, Ralph Fiennes led the cast of his first directorial debut, a modern-day adaptation of William Shakespeare's
Coriolanus, out in January 2012, at the premiere, press conference and portrait session today at the Toronto Film Festival, with costars Gerard Butler and Brian Cox. The photos can be seen below.
