Half-Blood Prince up for several MTV Movie Awards
 

MTV announced the nominees for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has made several categories.

Best Movie – Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Best Villian – Tom Felton
Best Female Performance – Emma Watson
Best Male Performance – Daniel Radcliffe

Additionally, Daniel Radcliffe has been nominated for Global Superstar, along with Johnny Depp, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

We should win all of those categories, but I've gotta say all of the Twilight fangirls/guys will go online and vote for their lot millions of times. But I think HP deserves to win. As for global superstar, I think Depp or Dan definitely deserve it. The Twilighters haven't been around long enough to deserve it.

Its sad to see Rupert isn't nominated for anything, and that Emma and Rupert aren't nominated for Global Superstar but Kristen, Taylor and Rob is...Make no sense IMO

I think the reason Rupert seems to get overlooked by everything is two-fold...
A-Over the years, how many of his lines have been given to Hermione?
B-As the movies have turned Ron into a caricature rather than an actual character, Ron Weasley as a human being has more or less ceased to exist. He's a stereotype of a sidekick, and Rupert isn't being given even the slightest chance to show off his acting talents. I personally think he can act 12 different kinds of circles around Tom and Emma, but since the movie-going public have basically seen nothing more than ginger buffoon who's perpetually starving and on the mental level with a Flobberworm...well you get my point.
