Two separate Goblet of Fire casting updates have just come in from MuggleNet readers Anne and LaToya:

1) In Birmingham, England schools have been informed that a woman from the Harry Potter casting office (Mrs. Baige) will be interviewing Asian girls only between the ages 14 and 16 for the parts of Parvati and Padma Patil in GoF! They plan to start filming in April 2004 and Mrs. Baige will be attending schools on December 18th onwards, possibly sooner.

2) In Birmingham, England, girls are wanted to play Padma and Pavati Patil in Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire. It strictly says that they want two asian girls age 14 to 16 to play them, and if possible, they should be twins or sisters. These are the roles they are looking for. Anyone not matching these descriptions will not be seen, but anyone else who is interested and does not have a sister should not contact the MAC venue anyway.

if i tried out it wouldn't matter. i hate living in the USA sometimes.

There's a girl in "The Tracey Beaker Story" she is quite pretty and about the right age. She could play one half of the sisters, plus it's a british show, filmed in Cardiff, which is not that far, in retrospective, to Birmingham.

Does anyone know if they've go tomseone for Luna Lovegood yet? Because I could do that part and would absolutely love it!!

They wont be casting her for GoF so it'll be a year before those casting calls are made.
