Warner Home Video issued a press release giving details on the ultimate editions of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, set to be released June 14, 2011 in the U.S, with pre-orders up until May 10, 2011. New information revealed includes what the hour-long exclusive specials from "Creating the World of Harry Potter" will entail from each DVD and Blu-ray set. That can be read below.  The definitive inside story continues when Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Ultimate Editions arrive on Blu-ray and DVD June 14 from Warner Home Video. Created for fans of the world’s #1 film franchise, each Ultimate Edition features a newchapter of “Creating the World of Harry Potter,” a unique 8-hour documentary series with never-before-seen footage, intriguing stories and an authoritative insider look behind the films.
Each hour-long chapter deepens the relationship Harry Potter fans have with the movies and adds to their understanding of and connection to their favorite characters and more (more details below). Orders are due May 10 (Blu-ray Disc™ SRP $49.99 / DVD SRP DVD $39.92).

Shame the extended versions aren't included, now it's basically the regular DVD with fancy packaging and some new things. I was hoping Yates would include the 1 hour of footage he cut from OotP.

I am really wondering if they are holding out the good stuff for a director's cut of the all the DVDs....they are gonna be made just watch and like a crazy fan I will not only own the DVD's, the UE version DVDs, but then the director's cut DVDs too!!
