I love the top image and the colour scheme! It's completely unique.

The reason the layout works is because "Less is more". I love the picture too, Mary GranPre really is a great artist, and bright colors...*stares mesmerized* I love simple bright colors. I think its cool, you need to change things up a bit every now and again. I hadn't been there in years...
