J.K. Rowling is the only author to make Forbes' “Billionaire Women We Envy” list. The magazine chose Jo for the following reasons:

It's an understandable sentiment. I envy her too...*sigh* She got her fairytale, and so few people actually do get that.

Well, she had to face a lot before getting her 'fairytale' as my Nabs <3 puts it. And she wouldn't be on that list right now if it had not been for the courage and persisence she always showed! Jo's an author whom you just can't put down saying, "So what? Life's easy for her, she's a billionaire."

She's amazing. Just look at her past and how she was living when she first wrote the story...then look at how she dreamed...and how she succeeded beyond her wildest dreams. She is truly amazing, and I am very proud to look up to her.

Yes, I agree. If only the books I wrote turned out that way...if I could finish them. ;) Maybe my day will come, and everyone will know my name! I actually wrote about that for an English paper recently, and I think I did pretty well. Ah, well, for now I'll just stick to being envious, it's easier.
