| | |  First edition Chamber of Secrets auctioned off
At the beginning of the month we told you that Oxfam would be auctioning off, amongst other things, a first edition copy of Chamber of Secrets. It was estimated to sell for between £300 - £500. The lot has now been sold for £360. The money raised will go toward helping the charity and its work all around the world. Quote:
Simon Roberts, of Bonhams books, said: "It is extraordinary what emerges from these Oxfam shops.
"It is a snapshot of what people have read and collected over the past century."
