First Daniel Radcliffe "How to Succeed" opening preview night photos & fan reviews
 

This Saturday evening marked the opening preview night of Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe in the Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Fans got the chance to see the musical, and have shouted nothing but praise and kind constructive criticism towards Dan in his role as J. Pierrepont Finch. One viewer managed to capture a couple of photos of the cast taking their curtain call bow at the end of the production, with a rather-nervous Dan still in costume alongside costars John Larroquette, Rose Hemingway, and others. About the pic, I just think it was took in the middle of his vow. He just looks tired after 3 hours dancing (the first previews always run a little longer until they make some adjustments) and excited to hear the people response, although he must have already known they loved it, since the audience applauded after many of the great musical dance numbers (and gave him a tremendous applause when he first came out to the stage for what I've read).


But this was not the openning night, it was the first preview, the openning night will be even better.

OMG! I feel so bad i cant see it, and i steel cant imagine dan dancing, sounds like he done a great job in it and its gonna get even better after the opening night.

Someone mentioned how big John Larroquette's hand is. Actually - looking at him - he looks gigantic overall! Not only compared to Dan, but to everyone. Wonder how tall he is?

I cant wait to see this play tomorrow! I loved Fastbak's comment Dan Fielding. It is his first broadway show as well! I look forward to seeing this show. Matthew Broderick won an award for the role soooo who knows. Maybe John Laroquette will take it as well!

Pleasantly surprised that he can sing and dance! I'm so proud of him. He's worked so hard to really push himself and try new things. And for most actors, the dream job is Broadway. He's made it! Congratulations, Dan! We're so proud of you!

By the way, NYC10016 saw the show the first day... Alan Rickman was there and he signed an autograph for her. I saw the show today and he was amazing. He was a tad green in some of the scenes but I believe that by the time he settles with the show he will be ready & more confident! John Larroquette was outstanding! Everyone in the show was great. Rose Hemmingway, Mary Farber & Ellen Harvey were outstanding. Christopher Hanke who plays Bud Frump was hysterical and made me laugh each time he was on!

Can't wait to see this! :)
