Film Focus has a new interview with Ralph Fiennes in which he talks about his role as Lord Voldemort and discusses what it was like to work with Dan Radcliffe.

I'm really looking forward to this movie. I don't really mind the dark stuff; too bad young fans can't watch it though. :erm:

I just hope that it's not one of those boring monalogues where they just drone on about being all-powerful, high and mighty, and that they'll go on and take over the world....those movies generally lead to the hero saving the day by putting the evil thug in prison or in his right place. Seeing how we all know HP takes a different course, and taking into consideration, Fiennes' abilities, I have very high hopes that this is not the case.

I'm so excited to see Ralphdemort. If a seasoned actor like him is so enthusiastic about this role and this scene, well, that's proof enough for me that it's worth seeing.

lol. the monologue bit sounds funny. i remember when i was in this one show, and my husband [in the show] had this whole monologue bit, and i just had to sit there and listen. it was REEEELy boring.

Wow! He sounds great! He sounds really into the part. I like when actors actually reveal that they had fun during the filming, then you know they're really devoted to their character. ^_^

I am sure that it has to be a scary scene between Ralph Fiennes and Dan Radcliffe because that is how it is described in the book. So, it is only fitting that Ralph describes the scene as scary.

Yeah but then you see the buds in their ball atire and its all worth the scary part!

OMG, I can't wait until November! My friend Kara and I are going to see it at midnight at are local theater. I'm wearing that "Dumbledore died on page [ ]. (I just saved you 4 hours and $30!)" shirt, she's getting it for me for my birthday (which is on Wednesday!).

I can't wait to see this scene! This part has to be one of my favorites in the entire book! I know Voldemort talks a lot, but it's still awesome! Ralph and Daniel look good together on screen, I'm sure it'll be an awesome part!

he really does like playing the evil character because this is like his third or fourth film being the villian, but he is so amazing.

dan must've been bored! i would've been! he had to react to what fiennes was saying all those times. i would've stopped after doing it 5 times.

If he was a really good and convincing Voldemort (which I have no doubt he will be, otherwise I'd hope they'd have found someone better) then I'd be a little afraid for him. After what the German guy did to get the latest book, I'd be afraid some fanatic would come try to kill me if I were him. I'd be afraid to be Alan Rickman right now too. Some people are just a little over obsessed. I do hope that nothing bad happen to either of them though. It's not their fault what their characters have done.

On the contrary, I think people will love them for it. And what Snape did was arguably a good thing.

People are crazy. Don't they understand that these are books and movies and not real life? It's just nuts. I also would like to add that I saw GOF two days ago and it was AWESOME! Ralph was particularly wonderful as Voldy and Harry's acting has definitely improved. Much better movie and I was not disappointed!
