'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' magical shed, Death Chamber VFX breakdown With less than a week away from the 2017 Academy Awards nominations, Image Engine Design Inc. released a breakdown reel of some of the graphics work the company created for last November's release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which was longlisted for the Achievement in Visual Effects categories at this year's Oscars. ImageEngineVFX breaks down two scenes from Fantastic Beasts layer by computerized layer: inside Newt Scamander's magical shed and the creatures that inhabit it; and MACUSA's Death Chamber and subsequent escape from the building's bowels, thanks to a CGI Swooping Evil.
