Trip to Harry Potter Exhibition at Bostom Science Museum!
We went to the museum yesterday and it was GREAT! Lots of Potter fans in full costume attending, too (some better than others!) ! We had so much fun looking at all the props and uniforms! You get an idea of how tall people are in comparison to others in the movies, but it's a whole new thing when you see them in person! The three leads weren't much taller than my 8 yr old daughter when they started! Some of them look sooooo tall in the movies (like the Phelps twins) but really they aren't much different than other teens around here! You also get to play a little inside. We got to pull our own mandrakes from their pots and play a little quiditch! The quiditch was actual quaffles you get to throw through 3 different hoops! Very fun! They also offered an audio tour that tells you little behind the scenes info about different characters and actors- like did you know they don't change Snape's costumes from movie to movie because the costume designer thinks his is Absolutely Perfect!?! Very cool all around! Hope to go see it again before it leaves (maybe there will be more stuff from the new movies!). We got to take a couple of pictures of my daughter in the one area you can take pictures. She's in front of the Ford Angola (flying car) and the Knight Ron rode in the first movie. As soon as I can figure out how to post them I will! What a great experience! I highly recommend it to anyone that is able to attend!
