What gets me is that SOMEONE connected with the film, actor, friend of an actor, friend of a daughter of a niece of a brother of a whatever HAS TO BE looking at so many of these comments and passing them along. How can the stupid movie execs and director and screenwriter and ROWLING HERSELF not know there's a not-too-small group of fans who are sort of having their expectations seriously crushed every time there's another story of yet ANOTHER plotline or character being thrown aside. The flow and narrative of the books has been ruined.

^ Thing is, by the time there's a reaction, it's too late. And besides, I don't think they should ever go by what a group of fans are saying. At the end of the day, regardless of the %, it's still nothing compared to the mass general audience. That's where the target demographic is.

and why on earth will they do that? that was one of the important things needed to be included on the film. this is going to be another incomplete harry potter film no doubt.

Wow I am really getting nervous the more and more I'm hearing about them apparently cutting and changing from this book, it sounds like it'll wind up as bad as OOTP! And I mean, with that I could even sorta understand, you knew with the longest length there would be a good amount cut, but with HBP it doesn't even seem like that's as much of an issue to worry about, it seems like they're going far out of their way so unnecessarily.

However, I won't cry totally foul just yet. We know Steve Kloves is back behind the typewriter here and for my money, he did as best as he could've done with 1-4.

what's the point of making this movie if they are to cut out so many important things, i mean honestly. ridiculous.

I'm interested to see how this whole movie is going to play out. I understand the need for changing somethings...but this movie seems to be moving farther and farther away. I'm sure I will enjoy it!

I've wondered why they have worried about limiting the time on these movies so much. Look at LOTR...awesome movies and very long...it didn't stop the masses from coming out at watching!

just like tonks, they had removed all her scenes, tonks wasn't lucky enough to have one as she deserves more. and then here comes no trelawney.

Our reactions were too late, and even if it weren't, they wouldn't change the movie script either.

I was very mad when I heard this, because she made the Prophecy about Harry and Voldemort. S.P.T. to A.P.W.B.D. Dark Lord and Harry Potter(?) She is soooo important! Plus she's an awsome character!

Oh! Come on...now thats just not right...I would have like to see how she lets slip that Snape overheard the prophecy...will miss her thou...

Well it does really stink but I am sure they have good reason for cutting it out. Believe me, I don't like that they are cutting this out but nothing can be done about it to be honest. I do really hate it but I am just going to wait and see until after the movie to spread my thoughts about everything.

Awww what?? I like Trelawney, she may not have alot of parts in HBP but the parts she does have are significant like the Room of Requirment scene etc.... weird!
Theres two much changing and missing from the movies as time goes on!!

They might as well remove Ron and Hermione from the film as well.
They keep taking out the key parts of the book, no one will know what's going on.

What's next -- cutting Dumbledore's death scene to simply Draco bursting in and disarming Dumbledore, and Snape right behind him yelling "Avada Kedavra"?

Or just cut out the scene altogether and go straight to the part where everyones like OMGOSH DUMBLEDORE DEAD?
