Exclusive: Frank Dillane to reprise Tom Riddle role in Deathly Hallows?
 

This past weekend I attended Collectormania London at the Earls Court Olympia. Whilst I was there I met both Frank Dillane (Tom Riddle) and Louis Cordice (Blaise Zabini). Pictures of the actors can be found here;

Frank informed me that he may be returning for Deathly Hallows. He has been told he may be needed for a 'few days' shooting but has not heard back about that yet. He also told me that he got the role in Half-Blood Prince by attending the open casting which was held in July 2007. As for Louis, he confirmed that he has worked on the film for 4 months in total, so far, and that they are currently shooting the battle sequences.

If anybody attended the event also, please feel free to send in pictures and/or reports!

I really loved him as Tom Riddle in HBP so that's good news :D I really hope the Battle is as good as it was in the book! So EXCITED! :faint:

:blink: Frank Dillane actually looks like he could be a hottie if he wasn't so tired looking. He seems so different to the Tom Riddle presented in HBP. Although that being said I want Christian back :(. He was a total hottie even as Riddle and played the character well.

I don't remember Tom Riddle being in Deathly Hallows...maybe they will add in the memories that they left out of HBP to help the trio figure out where the other horcruxes are!!!

But I'm so excited!! I knew Blaise was going to be in it. Apparently he's going to be in the room of requirement scene with Draco and Goyle!! :D

Umm, sorry but Christian Coulson is now 31. He was brilliant in Chamber, but it was a bit of a stretch to believe he was a teenager then. I think that Frank is an excellent Riddle, and would be interested to see what they might do with him since the teenaged Riddle isn't Deathly Hallows if memory serves.

christian is mid 30s now and could not pull it off...but he was handsome. This Dillane guy...whoa...cuteness

Christian's the same age as me, 31, and if Shirley Henderson can be close to 40 and pull off playing a teenager, than Christian can certainly do the same! Like I said, pretty much none of the actors are the same age as the characters they are portraying. It comes down to talent, and as far as I'm concerned, Christian had it in spades, this guy came across as a spoiled little Nancy Boy, no menace whatsoever.

It is good to know, i wish they will show in DH movies the other Memories that hasn't shown in HP6. Because they were all important to help us (particularly Harry Potter) easily understand the story, and give clue where to find the other horcruxes.

I remember, the memory with the Gaunt Family is really important because it gave Harry the clue or idea about the real existence of the Peverell brothers that was mentioned in The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
