Exclusive: Chris Rankin to reprise Percy Weasley role in Deathly Hallows We have received word from Chris Rankin's casting agency, Stacey Castro Media, that he has been asked to reprise his role as Percy Weasley in Deathly Hallows. They have said that: Quote:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011. |
Great! Percy is in! Bill is in. Now we just need word on Fleur and Charlie to, finally, have the complete Weasley family that we should have had in GoF. |
Thank. Goodness. |
That's great!! I so wish we could have Emma Thompson for Trelawney. Thus the gang would be almost complete. |
I totally agree!! |
yayyyyyyyyyyyy, I'll be really glad to see him again! |
*gasp* YESS!!!!! I wish Clemence Poesy would reprise her role as Fleur Delacour... :( |

As to Percy, he's in a couple of good scenes - one at the time that he accompanies the new Minister of Magic to his house to give the three their inheritance from Dumbledore; and another when he is in the same "elevator" as Harry and his Dad; and lastly when he is with Fred when Fred dies. That's his climax. Glad he's coming back. |
Great news! :) |
Yippee! Now what major parts are we still missing out? |

so GLAD to hear her will be in DH, it would have been such a disapointment if he wasnt!! super excited to hear more!! |
Yay!!! This is awesome! I wonder if they're going to keep in the stuff about him being angry with his family or if he's just going to show up and fight?! Either way...it's awesome he's back!!!! :D |
yay cant wait!!! |
thats great news, i dont think anyone else could play the part as well as chris can |
awesome! i'm glad he is back |
nice :hermy2: |
\o/ Great news! |
Great news! |
oh freddie! Quote:
this news reminds me of Fred's death... |
He better make a good come back or else i'll be screaming "Oh woop-de-doo! I still blame you Percy for Fred's death! Comedy is not for you!" The whole way through the movie. |
now that gives us a good amount of good news! |
I am so glad to hear that he will be back...officially. |
Yay! I really want to see all of the Weasley Family in DH. |

that is good, but I remeber Percy going to the Burrow in HBP with Scrimgeour at Christmas, not in DH but that is just me....... Also, I am anxiously awaiting to hear if Clemence Poesy is coming back.... maybe we should all send letters telling her she should!!! Oh well..... can't wait for DH!! |
YEAAHHH, but I still don't like Percy |
If they would have picked another guy to play Percy, I would have been a little miffed. |
good on him |
its is a good thing to. as that scene b4 the fight was vital |
Awesome ! :woot: I was always wondering if he'll appear or not ! |
Squee!! :D I was really hoping they wouldn't leave him out of the 7th movie. I am glad to hear that Bill has been cast, although I must admit I was disappointed that his character won't be in the 6th movie. I mean, he gets mauled by Fenrir during the fight at the end. That's when Mrs W finally realizes that Fleur's love for Bill is real and she accepts them for the first time. Sigh. I guess we fans can't have everything. :) But, I got off topic. Percy. Yes. (clears throat) I'm glad to hear they kept the same actor. He LOOKS like Percy and really did the role justice in C.o.S. :) |
it's great that he'll be back.. now, we only need charlie.. lol |
thats a great news, wish they show fleur and bill's marriage that would be awesome. |
why wouldn't he? |
