Exclusive: Chris Rankin to reprise Percy Weasley role in Deathly Hallows
 

We have received word from Chris Rankin's casting agency, Stacey Castro Media, that he has been asked to reprise his role as Percy Weasley in Deathly Hallows. They have said that:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011.

Great! Percy is in! Bill is in.
Now we just need word on Fleur and Charlie to, finally, have the complete Weasley family that we should have had in GoF.

Charlie has really never been that big a deal in the HP books. He is mentioned here and there. Now, Fleur has to return. She's got a few really good parts; besides, she's one of the 7 Harry Potters at the beginning of the book, right? And, of course, the wedding. Bill can't get married by himself.

As to Percy, he's in a couple of good scenes - one at the time that he accompanies the new Minister of Magic to his house to give the three their inheritance from Dumbledore; and another when he is in the same "elevator" as Harry and his Dad; and lastly when he is with Fred when Fred dies. That's his climax. Glad he's coming back.

this news reminds me of Fred's death...

He better make a good come back or else i'll be screaming "Oh woop-de-doo! I still blame you Percy for Fred's death! Comedy is not for you!" The whole way through the movie.

They can't really, since they never mentioned anything about it in OotP, right. Unless it's mentioned in HBP, but they might stage a fight in DH?

I couldnt agree with you more! They always seem to skip important scenes. Like in GoF they didnt really have classes. And in OotP they missed harry going into the fire twice and quiditch with ron! The people who only watch the movies are missing out.

I don't remember that from the book, apparently Scrimgeour shows up at the Burrow alone, since Percy wasn't there at the wedding. I am thankful that Chris is coming back. Actually I remember Percy was at the ministry and that run in with his father although they don't greet each other very well.:faint:

that is good, but I remeber Percy going to the Burrow in HBP with Scrimgeour at Christmas, not in DH but that is just me....... Also, I am anxiously awaiting to hear if Clemence Poesy is coming back.... maybe we should all send letters telling her she should!!! Oh well..... can't wait for DH!!
