Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the Potter films, is going to play an orphan in the BBC production of Ballet Shoes, an adaptation of Noel Streatfield's book.
Victoria Wood, Marc Warren, and fellow Harry Potter film actor Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon) will be amongst her fellow cast-mates in the 90 minute T.V. drama. The show is said to be "the centrepiece of the Beeb's Christmas line-up". Quote:
Ballet Shoes follows the tale of three orphaned sisters who are adopted by an eccentric explorer and raised by his niece.
A TV source said: "Emma was practically born for this role."
Filming is said to start sometime this month.

I think it is great that Emma is finally doing something than HP. I won't be able to watch it, it won't be shown in my country. But I hope she does well, and I have also noticed that the three have done something with another HP cast memeber.
