Dursleys and Dementors back for 'Phoenix'
 

A reliable source has confirmed that the Dursleys are to return for Order of the Phoenix and that Harry Potter does indeed save Dudley from Dementors - just as in the book.

Arabella Figg witnesses the act and Harry will be on trial at the Ministry - also just as in the book.

Warner Bros has not yet commented.

Madame Bones and Mundungus Fletcher have roles in the film, though WB has not yet released information on who has been cast.

We will keep you informed as we hear more!

UPDATE: CBBC Newsround has now confirmed that the Dursleys wil be back. They also inform us that Amelia Bones and two of Dudleys gang members have been cast.

The only thing we are still awaiting is confirmation about Mundungus Fletcher.

Oh I do hope these rumours are true....was such a shame that the Dursley were cut in GoF...

I'm glad to hear that, the dementor attack has alot to do with the over all plot in the OOTP. It's also when you find out what a real "Cow" Umbridge is.

Cool! I think it's going to be great that the Dursleys are back! They should stick to the book because it makes it easier for people who haven't read the books to know what's going on. Like in GOF, at the beginning, when Harry woke up with the scar, Hermione was there. In the book it says he was at the Dursleys when it happened, but people who haven't read the book would've thought that Harry woke up in Hogwarts! :)
