It really is just a splendid clip. You want to hug him so badly when she calls him weird. And just seeing him so excited to read it! And best of all, when you watch, you really don't think "Hey, it's Ron!" Which is great. :)

Rupert's turning into a fine actor, it looks like it's going to be really good! Now I can't wait to see a clip of December Boys also.

I felt bad for him just like everybody else, but I can see where she is coming from too. It was weird the way he was reading it, and from her point of view he might be nuts! Why am I saying this??? Because he played that scene so well, I was sold. No Ron, no Rupert, just an awkward guy trying to fit in. I'm just speechless.

Rupert is just so cute, he looks the perfect awkward boy here plucking up the courage to tell his feelings in a poem, the best thing is I saw him as a new person not at all as RON

Exactly. It's not about what the character looks like, that's inevitable, it's when he talks and is in character. It's a total unRon character and he plays him so differently from playing Ron. He's brilliant. Even in that little clip, completely brilliant!

Awww....The whole time he was asking her if could read her the poem I kept thinking just listen you TARD!! And then the poem was so sweet!!! Did he say "your milky breasts my strange mate." ? I was laughing that was such a sweet poem. Then when she tells him, "I'm sorry your just...too weird.", I couldn't believe she said that to him! How mean can she be. That movie looks awesome and he is amazing. Can't wait to see that film. Yay Rupert!!! :woot:

Could you please tell me what Ben said in this clip that Ron would say, or do? Ron can't recite poetry! That would really change Ron's whole personality wouldn't it? Ben seems to be very weird and passionate and Ron is witty and sarcastic. Or do you mean the hair? Some other people were saying that, and really the hair was different to me. Ron had this soft long shaggy rock star look look going on, and Ben's do looks all rough and tousled.

:sorcerer: I thought the clip was very good and it was nice to see Rupert in another film. He has a lot of potential as an actor and hopefully we will see him in many other non-HP films in the future.

Oh, that was a brilliant clip. He truly is a very good actor because I definitely felt his pain and wanted to smack the girl. I am very eager to see this movie.
