| | |  'Do the Hippogriff' short listed for an Oscar
Can you 'do the hippogriff'? We may all be come Oscar time next year! The popular song "Do the Hippogriff" from the 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' movie soundtrack is among 42 songs to be voted on by the Academy of Motion Pictures to be in the running for an Oscar. The song, performed by Jarvis Cocker and Company at the Yule Ball, could be nominated in the category of "Oscar for Best Original Song from a Motion Picture". The final nominations will be announced on January 31st, 2006.

To be perfectly honest, I haven't actually listened to the 4th HP soundtrack. I have no clue what that song even sounds like, lol... I'll have to go listen to the 30 second clip on itunes.
