Deathly Hallows split confirmed at Snatchers' capture before Malfoy Manor
 

We reported earlier that Joshua Herdman and various Harry Potter co-stars attended Muggle Mayhem, a fan convention from which proceeds were given to charitable causes.

During a panel discussion, Josh revealed the current scene chosen as the split point for both Deathly Hallows films:

Please note that this is susceptible for change, and that this is currently the split point for the films. David Yates said in late June that the split point would be one of the scenes involving Harry, Ron, and Hermione being chased by Snatchers, which he had been filming at the time.

Wow a good place to stop. It will be kind of hard to wait for the second part.

Even though it's cool to know where the split is, I would have loved for it to be a surprise. But like the article said, it may change.

I think i'll die in the movie theatre when the movie suddenly ends...cliffhangers! Argh!

That would be a great place to split the two films!!! The only downside is it would mean that I have to wait longer to see the Malfoy Manor scene. Can't wait, so excited!!! :)

Great cliffhanger but I don't want to wait six months or whatever it is to see Malfoy Manor! It was my favourite chapter in the book.

Nice place to stop, such a cliffhanger. I wonder how are they going to start the 2nd part... maybe with some flashback?

But they let that info slip ages ago when they spoke about filming it and that scene being in both movies!

Ha! This is so fantastic...I was counting today and there are 22 huge chapters that need to be put in and there are 11 in both films!!!

Well, it wasn't an announcement, just a reveal. And it could very well change.

It will be so hard for me to watch the movie when I know it will be split... Maybe that's a good point for it, hopefully it is. And I also hope that they don't make this big action scene and cut it in the middle with "TO BE CONTINUED..." because that's really a tease!
