Deathly Hallows Shell cottage scenes to be shot in Wales?
 

The Western Telegraph is today reporting that location scouts have been on a recce to South Pembrokeshire, Wales, with a view to shooting scenes there for Deathly Hallows. They are said to have been looking at a particular beach.

According to the report, hotel and catering arrangements have been made for early summer.

Omg I am so glad for this, it looks like they are going to do this movie justice! I hope they include the Dobey scene as well. I mean no excuses the movie is being split into to parts...

I'm happy about this. I was fearing that they may cut this scene from the movie. But they're not so all is good!!

if they dont use Clemence....i have to wonder what the real reason is? She is beautiful, like Fleur is supposed to be...a difficult person on set, perhaps? I wondered this since she is not going to be in HBP....

They've got to include the Dobby scene!!!! That's probably one of the most heartening part of the book. That's when Harry finally realizes that he can control and put Voldemort out of his mind because he was consumed with grief of Dobby's death. To take that scene out would be disastrous. I'm sure JK would thoroughly agree.

I am sure the TPTB are goin to do this movie extreme justice-just as the actors will- they have I guess close to a 5 hour movie to film (when split into 2 parts) and will not exclude a whole lot if any- we dont know what they are keeping out which is why I am not jumping the gun until the movie is done filming :) CANT WAIT FOR HBP AND DH!!!! HBP- 125 days!!!! ;)

I honestly thought they would be leaving out Shell cottage. Pleased to see I'm wrong.

There are tons of amazing locations in Wales, I don't think they'd have trouble finding something close to the sea, around where the cottage should be. And as far as Clemence goes, she was never Fleur to me. She's pretty, but she doesn't have that "take your breath away" beauty that Fleur is supposed to have. So if they recast Fleur, I wouldn't be too gutted.
