Tom Felton commented on the nominations soon after they were announced. Quote:
"That's awesome," Felton told MTV News about the new nomination. "People have been voting, so it's amazing."
"It was a kind of a blur last year, so I'd be very excited if I get the chance to go back and do it again," he laughed.
"All I can send is my endless appreciation to everyone who is online and campaigning," he said. "I really appreciate it. It's an endless, sweet gesture, after 10 years, that Draco gets a lot of love. It's ironic, in a way, but I love it and appreciate it very much."
"In a way, even though he's known as a slimy bully, he's not really that villainous," Felton added. "There's actually a sweet little boy there. They love to hate me!"

honestly, the horcrux kiss itself is not really special. It's because of the whole "naked" gimmick and shock value that everyone makes a big deal about it.

And Rupert is snubbed. What a shocker. It's only MTV so whatever, but Rupert's performance in this one was phenomenal, and in my own opinion, outdid Daniel performance wise.
But congrats to all nominees. Emma's performance was fantastic and deserves the recognition.
Wondering how Tom's nominated as he's only in the movie for about two minutes. Should have been Helena.

I really hope they win all the awards. Seriously, why are people annoyed by the fact that Dan & Emma are up for best kiss? Regardless if you didn't like it, you should vote for it because it's a HP nomination. When Rupert & Emma are up for best kiss, if they get through to the next voting rounds, I will be voting for them because they are representing HP. So please, vote for the kiss aswell as the other nominations. GO HARRY POTTER <3

Emm...i would like to know why Voldemort is not considered in the 'Best Villain' category?! i voted for him 3 or 4 times in the nomination votes!!! if he doesn't get it next year there shall be hell to pay lol! Draco isn't a villain, he struggles about which side to join, he's weak and yes he's a bully, but he's not what can be considered a ' true villain', Tom Felton even said that himself. I also voted for Rupert in the nominations but, alas, he's not mentioned  i thought he was BRILLIANT in DH:part1. I thought Emma also pulled out all the stops in part1, but it isn't the fact she's up against Natalie Portman, but that she's up against Kristen Stewart...this is the MTV awards afterall, they never seem to vote for performance! i've read the Twilight books and seen the films and I quite like them, but they in no way compare to the HP books/films!! And just because the cast is good looking does not mean they deserve to win an award for their acting! Unfortunately, Twilight has a huge (an obsessive) fan base and they will try their very best to make sure their choice of film wins, we need to show them that HP is not a force to be reckoned with and that it has far more meaning in the books and means more to its fans, than Twilight. As Stephen King said:
"Harry Potter is about confronting fears, finding inner strength and doing what is right in the face of adversity. Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend."

I really think that Rupert should of got nominated. Tom only appeared in DH for a few seconds. I guess it's just how popular the actors are. And Dan and Emma shouldn't be nominated for best kiss? Only TRUE HP fans know why.

It's funny, instead of complaining that why the heck Rob Pattinson is nominated for his God awful performance and Rupert didn't even though he's awesome, some people complain that why did DAN get a nom..?!

While I'm extremely happy whenever Harry Potter is nominated, I still can't help feeling bad for Rupert... I mean Dan, Emma and Tom deserve their nominations no doubt about that but it does bother me that Rupert has been left out again I don't know if it's just me but I think he deserves a lot more recognizion for his work. Emma and Dan always get most of the attention. I'm not saying they don't deserve it but sometimes I just feel so bad for Rupert

C'mon folks - don't take it all so seriously. This is obviously just a fan favorite vote. If you wanted Rupert nominated you had to keep going to the site to vote. And really - in the end - no one could even touch Colin Firth's performance in The King's Speech - so Rupert's in good company - I'm sure he hasn't given it a second thought. (and it was also the best movie of the year in my opinion, but I still voted for Deathly Hallows just for the fun of it, and I knew the King's Speech wouldn't have a shot on the MTV awards!)
About the kiss - again - the purpose for the kiss doesn't matter. It was a great scene! The special effects, the feeling it gave off - and yes, they had some chemistry. Dan and Emma pulled that scene off well - it was one of the best kisses in the nominations. That one I actually voted for because I did think it was the best.
