Deathly Hallows Death Eater actor donates first editions to charity Michael Thompson, who has been cast as a Death Eater in Deathly Hallows, has donated first edition copies of the Harry Potter books to a charity shop for the British Heart Foundation in Keighley, West Yorkshire, England. Michael is one of 20 Death Eaters to have been cast for the final films and will complete shooting in the new year, with production set to continue until June 2010. |

i think it is great for him to donate those books..but...really..never read one? and he is starring in the movies..that doesn't sound so good..i wish i owned as many harry potter books..i know i read mine so many times i don't even remember |

Good for him. He's most likely playing a nameless, non-speaking Death Eater in the background of a scene who may, at the most, have one line in the film. I'd be worried if a main cast member hasn't read the books, but all that he has to know is this: Death Eaters are menacing guards. Look scary during the chase scene. |
