SWEET!!!!! I am so excited about the movies!!! The scenes sound cool and I can't wait to see them!

PotterGirl714 12-04-2009 05:01 AM

Oh ok

finfin91 12-04-2009 07:54 AM

I think, and hope that the nude scenes will be done quite tastefully and accurately. This should also mean that it will be at the very least a PG-13 rating which is a good thing. HBP was not done as well as it should have been; too many scenes that were made up which did not follow the book. I hope they do better with DH.

Harry and Hermione do have a special relationship (close like brother and sister) and there would, definately, be a very logical reason for their dancing in the movie. With Ron having just left and Hermione feeling sad and lonely without him, and Harry missing Ginny, they sort of need to console each other.

As for the nude scenes, I'm kind of with Bellatriscrucioyou's points (Yeah to the Kings Cross scene and we'll see for the other.....)

grace1008 12-04-2009 01:57 PM

oh no........I know I shouldn't blame David Yates before DH released, but I really, really, REALLLYYYY don't like the dancing part, I DONT LIKE THE IDEA, REALLY.
Harry and Hermione's "just like brother and sister"relationship had already made me sick in HBP, I mean, yah I still love HBP but some of parts in the movie were just.....TOO H/Hr. and I hate the end of the movie, too.Ron didnt said a word, just sitting there loke a dumb, and Hermione just kept talking and talking, like she's the only one person who really do care about Harry, AND Ron was the one who only concerned about whether Harry would snog his sister Ginny in public......I can't understand this, now here's the new H/Hr part......oh my, seriously I dont want to put hands on my eyes in the theatre

r33nbluebottle 12-04-2009 02:52 PM

Hope they didint push through the nude scene,,, that will change Harry's image

britt and ron 12-04-2009 03:45 PM

omg i cant wait to see him nude

Antwone Thomas 12-04-2009 08:16 PM

Does this mean Emma will be nude as well?

Actually, in Yates' and Ron's defense, the way the whole scene was portrayed was pretty perfect in my opinion. Hermione is a big talker, she reads a lot of books because of her insecurities. She was heartbroken about Dumbledore and how it effected Harry so here way of dealing with things like that is to read a book or just keep talking and talking.

Harry doesn't speak much either but all he was focused on was setting out to find the Hallows.

But Ron ... Ron is a guy of passion, of emotion. He expresses himself not through his words (because let's face it, he's not the most loquacious fellow) but his action speak much louder than words. Ron was devastated and didn't know what to say. All of the things that were happening were beyond him and he didn't know how to handle it all. So, he just stayed back listened in and sulked.

David Yates is a very intelligent director. He doesn't do the things he does by accident, nor does any other professional director.

well.....I guess I was too impetuous to say those words.
(I'm always am impulsive person, this is my big shortcomings)
I think you're right, not until I saw your opinion had I understanded why David Yates dealt with the scene like that... now I'll learn to see the new added scene in a different light, though it's still difficult because I love R/Hr so much...

Locket!Hermione and Locket!Harry <s>sadly</s> aren't described as nude in that scene.

I will admit that having the scene redone like that will be <s>awesomely steamy yet quite a bit</s> too scandalous for a film like this.

That's sounds weird but I'm really excited!

I have a suggestion. People who have that Blu-ray thing.. why don't you participate in the BD live event on Dec 12th and blast David Yates off his hinges for adding all these atrocious Harry/Hermione scenes? The nerve of him and Steve Kloves.. They make everything sound like a glorified fan-fiction!! Trust me.. some of the fan-fiction writers are much, much better than Kloves.. feeling awfully angry!!

GinnyW21 12-06-2009 11:02 AM

interesting

Ok I REALLY am sooooooo worried!!!!!
If these movies are not going to be true to the books they will SUCK!!!!!

When I read about the nude scence with the horcrux, that angered me. First of all I don't think this is true.

David Yates has been known to lie about things. e.g. "Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll" suposedly HBP Plus I read that Daniel denied the nude scences before.

Plus Ron's reaction wouldn't be sadness or madness it would be WTF!! And he would puke and Harry too, and VOLDY would PUKE! Ron's head is not full of nude things!!

Anyways a full frontal nudity scene especially with a girl would make this movie rated R or NC17!!!!

Now the DANCING SCENE!!!
I HATE THIS!!!!
When I 1st read this I cried, I have never cried while reading HP news before!!!

Anyways I got into thinking. Maybe the dancing scene is a vision Ron sees from the Horcrux! Voldy makes Ron think that Harry and Hermione were happy without him. MAYBE, I soooooooo hope so!

If it is not burn the film that recorded that scene and the nude horcrux scene as well.

They're just dancing. A dance doesn't really mean anything special - people dance with complete strangers all the time.

My guess is that it'll be a scene to establish that Ron's seeing more romantic tension in Harry and Hermione's relationship than there really is. After all, if they're doing the locket scene, the locket has to play off of Ron's jealousy anyway.

That's a good point, I never thought of that. Good thinking Mr. Saxon. :woot:

Disappointed Again

I would like to state that I am very disappointed with the way the Harry Potter films have been done since Yates took over. Firstly, Steve Kloves is a terrible screenwriter. He has no clue how to translate a novel to the screen. The extra scene added in Half Blood Prince was a complete waste of time that could have been otherwise used to better the story. And the scene with Harry watching the trains? Useless.

Secondly, I think Yates is a terrible director for allowing these horrendous changes to the story. Harry and Hermione never dance in any of the books, especially in DH when Ron leaves. It is a tremendously emotional time for the both and they are both quite depressed.

I do hope that someone will re-make these movies into the classics they sadly are not becoming.

That said, kudos to the actors and actresses. You seem to be the only intelligent people working on the film.

Might I also add that Ms. Rowling deserves some of the blame too, as she apparently sees nothing wrong with her books being thrown into a blender and whipped into something that in no way shape or form resembles what she wrote.

Maxilocks 12-12-2009 03:09 PM

Very "sexy" - personally, I don't like that. That's now how you show the depth of emotions. -shrugs-

Dsizemore88 01-08-2010 04:30 PM

Okay to you all IDIOT flipping out about the dance.

Harry and Hermione dance is going to be when Ron has the horcrux on. The Horcrux inside assumed the shape of Harry and Hermione and played on Ron's fear that Harry and Hermione had started a relationship during his absence. Thats when the damn dance is going to be so STFU and stop freaking out.

kwogatsunami 09-25-2010 11:34 PM

Guy's, I'm willing to bet that the dancing scene will be at Bill and Fleur's wedding, and Harry won't have Polyjuice Potion. Just saying.
