| | |  Daniel Radcliffe's film 'Kill Your Darlings' to begin filming in NYC March 12th
Variety is reporting that Daniel Radcliffe's upcoming drama, Kill Your Darlings, which they also stated he is confirmed to star in, will begin production on March 12, 2012 at New York City's famed Ivy League college, Columbia University. Those set to star alongside Dan as famed beat poet Allen Ginsberg are actors Elizabeth Olsen, Dane Dehaan and Jack Huston. This will be the first movie Dan has ever shot in the United States.  Quote:
Olsen, whose profile rose dramatically this year following her turn in "Martha Marcy May Marlene," will play Edie Parker, the wealthy art-student girlfriend of Jack Kerouac (Huston). Radcliffe will play Allen Ginsberg; Dehaan plays Lucien Carr, a classmate of Ginsberg's for whom he develops feelings.
Killer Films' Christine Vachon, Michael Benaroya of Benaroya Pictures and Rose Ganguzza of Rose Pictures are producing from a script by John Krokidas, who will also make his feature directorial debut. Lensing is set to begin March 12 in New York at Columbia University.

Whoa! A new project! Way to go Dan!  With Elizabeth Olsen even. I'm ecstatic that they have new projects after Potter but I had a sinking feeling in my heart whenever they're moving on... and because no other Potter alumni is in the film...
