Another report from the Order of the Phoenix DVD junket has emerged in which Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson & David Heyman discuss Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows.
Much has been said about the shift in tone in the sixth film, with a focus on comedy and romance, to the dismay of its lead star. Quote:
"I think the script's great and I think it's going to be a really great film. But I'm just one of those people that, in what I'm doing, I always lean toward the dark side and I really enjoy doing the dark stuff.
"I know Emma and Rupert really, really like the lighter stories and all that. And Rupert particularly is really going to have a field day on this, because he's got fantastic comic timing and he'll be able to use all of that to great effect on this film with his relationship with Lavender Brown.
"(But) I'm actually going to miss doing all the morbid stuff, I think." So he is eager for film seven. "That's the one last hurrah, that film. That's going to be great. I really am very, very excited about the whole thing. It's going to be epic, I hope."
And, with the release of the book 7, changes had to be made to the Half-Blood Prince script, to keep continuity in place. Quote:
As for the Half-Blood script, written before J.K. Rowling released the final book, only one change had to be made once Deathly Hallows went public. There was an awkward reference to Dumbledore's wand, Hayman says. "For obvious reasons (if you've read the seventh book) it had to be changed."

I think it's because he won't have as much to do and I think he did very well in the movies where it was really centred on him like POA and OOTP. He probably knows he performs best when he can be morbid. He'll have his chance again in Deathly Hallows although strangely enough, I found Deathly Hallows Harry Potter more upbeat than the OOTP HP. However, my all time favourite Harry was the one in HBP so I hope he can pull it off adequately although he doesn't particularly care for the lightness.

I dont think i'll miss the whole moodiness of the movie...i mean I enjoyed it..but OoTP was a bit to dark for my liking!
Also I hope that Rupert Grint is in the movie alot more...I mean I love Dan Radcliffe to death but they should put more of his co-stars in the films more!
