| | |  Dan Radcliffe to star in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2011
Late last year, Daniel Radcliffe participated in a script reading and performance for the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, though it was not confirmed that the production would see the light of day.
It is now being reported that the musical will hit Broadway in Spring 2011. Quote:
Radcliffe will portray the show's unlikely hero, an opportunistic young man who rises from the mail room to the top of the corporate heap in this satiric, Pulitzer Prize-winning musical. It features a score by Frank Loesser and a book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert.
The show's producers said Thursday the musical will be directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford.
UPDATE: Dan's reps have confirmed the casting - Dan will hit Broadway next spring. | |

Very cool, and good for him. This fascinates me because this is a Broadway musical. I don't care what anyone says, you need to be on top of your game every single night, eight times a week...and that means vocally. I hope he's up to the challenge, especially playing such a big role. He's a good actor, I'm sure that'll be great. But I'm a little skeptical about vocals. Congrats, Dan.
