Dan Radcliffe talks Half-Blood Prince in new interview (UPDATED)
 

The Sun reports that in a new interview with Empire Magazine, Daniel Radcliffe compares Half-Blood Prince to the 1996 film Trainspotting:

Hmm ... all this talk about sexual energy and drug parallels in the film is making me wonder. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I just hope they didn't over-do any of that.

Drugs+sexual energy+harry potter and harry potter+trainspotting! i've seen trainspotting & those are words i never thought i would here in the same sentence, but it's pretty cool starting w/ an attack @ the beginning. maybe it's the big ben, or the tower bridge, or the london eye?

Well, we already know it's the Millennium Bridge since they shot scenes around that back in March.

yeah im not too sure about the whole drug and sexual energy thing either but i guess David Yates know what he's doing:shifty: i really hope we get a trailer soon though!

I'm 99% sure that when he mentions the drug parallels he's talking about the Felix Felicis and how the consumer is affected by it. The whole euphoria and feeling of 'infinite opportunity', right?

I can understand the sexual energy part, since this is the book with all of the coupling. But the drug parallels baffle me. I guess it's because of the Felix Felicis as there's nothing else it could really be, but I would never have thought of it in that light. Oh well, hope it's good...

wow...tht line..sexual energy caught my eye! hbp is the most sexually charged of all books...2nd is DH..lol :hermy: but i think gof runs a close 2nd or 3rd to hbp...
