Dan Radcliffe makes major donation to Get Connected
 

Last month we told you about Dan Radcliffe's large donation to support The Trevor Project, a suicide hotline for LGBTQ teens in the U.S.

Dan has made another significant donation, this time to U.K. hotline, Get Connected, for people under 25 who have a problem but do not know where to find help.

According to Dan:

The trained volunteers at Get Connected field 70,000 calls each year, giving each young person the emotional support and information they need to choose the best option from the thousands of services available in the UK. A further addition to the service, WebHelp 24/7 for online self-help, was launched this week.

I live in the UK but I’ve never heard of Get Connected before, hopefully he’ll help raise its profile.

He is soooooo sweet and understanding. It's so great he is helping all these people out there. You don't find many 20 year olds who really think about the world or its problems. Its a pleasure to see he is spending his money on such causes rather than finding pics of him drunk in some pub!!!

I think its really great of him to support charities like this one and the Trevor Project.
Lets hope the money helps to make a difference to young men and women in trouble and that the associated press attention will raise the charities profile.

He is so mature and understanding. Some adult actors and actresses need to learn from Daniel and contribute to such useful projects instead of getting hyped up and arragont for their own popularity. Daniel, we all love you.

Dan is love ... not just because of his choice of charities but because he gives to so many charities ... :yes:

I'll say it again ... HP has generated tons of charity moneys not just with Jo, and the films but the actors themselves ... and I think that's seriously sweet.

Awe thats so sweet, thats awesome hes helping those 2 projects that are there to help out all of those young people. It shows how mature he is and that he really cares. Boy some of those famous adults who go to bars all the time and waste their money could learn from him!!!

It's so sad that teens feel like this anyway but getting help and support is a major part of getting better physically and mentally.
