Dan: 'Greatest Child Star'
 

Dan Radcliffe has topped Germany's RTL's 'Greatest Child Star' list.

There was a poll on the internet and Dan was voted the winner. Also listed were Britney Spears (#2), Michael Jackson (#4), Drew Barrymore (#5), and Macaulay Culkin (#10).

Dan is rather cute. And he's a great actor too. I hope he'll be playing as Harry Potter in the 5th, 6th and 7th movie..

Dan will be one of the most famous actors when he grows up... not that he isn't but he is defenetly not like Leonardo DiCaprio or Tom Cruise, but im sure he will be!

Unfortunately I disagree with the majority of people's opinions of Daniel Radcliffe's #1 position. No offence, but I find it quite absurd that he came first. I would have thought that Hilary Duff would have came first, as she is very talented. Daniel Radcliffe is not a very good actor. No offence to anyone, this is only my view, and I am not pushing it onto anyone! Britney spears is also quite talented.

The screencaps are good, but I think that there are much better (much more of a child) actors out there than him. My person favorite is Freddie Highmore, I think that kid is amazing!

All of the people listed were child stars at one time or currently are because it's the 'Greatest Child Star' list of all time.

I wouldn't call him the greatest child star though.

I think I going to disagree with you, I think Dan did great in PoA, that is why he is getting so much recognition from the film critics, now Hilary is one of the worst actors, and her movies are so bad, the same with Britney, she doens't sing, and she can't act.

I think it is great for Dan to recieve the recognition. However, I must admit that there must be someone out there that is a better child actor. I think Emma Watson does a better job than Dan. What about her?

Actually, Hilary is one of the best teenage actors in the acting industry. She has also received alot of positive comments from movie critics, etc about her acting. Personally I think that Daniel only became so famous, because his name is tied to a very controversial, and popular book. I never knew of him when he was in that movie, which I cant put my finger on. There are many child actors that are better than him, in fact, I think that Raven Symone is probably the best child actor i've ever seen. If you see her in her disney channel show 'Thats So Raven', you will see how well she acts, and she incorporates humour into her acting. I agree with Marcella Riddle that he is not the greatest. Daniel can have his moments, but there are other people that are better than him.

^ In terms of acting, there are better, but there are nearly always people who are better (In the acting Industry you can always say so and so is better than so and so). A greater child star would probably be someone was more successful as a child. He's not all that famous, especially not in this country were surprisingly Harry Potter isn't as popular as you'd think. He was good in David Copperfield but we all know how he got in HP - his dad was friends with David Heyman, Dan met him at the theatre one night and Heyman decided he was perfect.

Nope, Dan is definitely not the greatest child star...he's popular, yes, but not the best in terms of acting.

But I think that the best child star should be Dakota Fanning from "I Am Sam" and "Hide and Seek". She's really very good.
