| | |  Dan gets standing ovation at ‘Equus’
Dan Radcliffe’s new play Equus debuted with a preview performance last night to an audience of just under 1,000. A report from the Daily Mail is that Dan wowed the crowd and received a standing ovation. You can see a photo from the play here in our Gallery.
According to Equus producer David Pugh: Quote:
It's the first preview, we've got until the first night to continue working and we know what we have to do, but the boy's a revelation.
There will be 10 more previews before the play’s opening night on Feb. 27. Tonight’s preview will be attended by a couple of SnitchSeeker members. We look forward to their report! UPDATE: There is another positive review from The Sun here.

Well...he is definitely brave for going out there like that in front of those people, and everyone knows he's a magnificent actor, so no doubt he did a wonderful job in the play. He deserves a chance for people to know him as something other than the boy who played Harry Potter.

I have absolutely no doubt that this play will sell out every night that it is on, due to Dan being in it, but I think he will get the chance to prove he is no longer just Harry - way to go Dan!
