Confirmed: Emma Watson is new face & ambassador of Lancôme beauty brand While attending a pre-BAFTA party a month ago, Emma Watson confirmed to the Daily Mail that she was the new ambassador to beauty brand Lancôme, stating the following: Quote:
The clues released on Emma's official Twitter account in regards to the new project involved with was indeed for that: Lancôme has confirmed that she will be the newest ambassador of the brand, more specifically their fragrance "Trésor Midnight Rose." Emma will be shooting the campaign photos with noted photographer Mario Testino, whom she has worked with in past collaborations, sometime this month. Youcef Nabi, President of Lancôme International, had this to say on Emma's involvement with promoting the brand: Quote:

Can't think of a more worthy ambassador. |
That's what those clues were about? I thought it was something different. Since she already confirmed it to the Daily Mail a few weeks ago woudn't fans have already known? [:/] Ah well, the clues were fun while they lasted. :) She'll definitely make a great ambassador but I do wonder how fragrance really fits into the whole make-up thing? Ah well, who am I do nit-pick such things? Congrats Emma! ^_^ |
Haha, I knew it! |
Burberry AND Lancome!?!? Girl is on fire! |
wow Congrats for Emma ^_^ |
I so hoped,it wouldn't be true.Lancome is using Animals for testings :( Couldn't she just work for People tree or Burberry again? |
That's great for Emma! I wish her the best! :loved: |
Lancome is only ehhhh.....I have indeed read that they do animal testing. |
The Daily Mail actually posted something that was right, I may faint! Also the Lancome testing on animals stuff is incorrect. L'oreal (who own Lancome) haven't done it since 1994, aside from the morality issues it's a very expensive way of testing and developing man made tissues, which they do now is much cheaper and much more accurate. Most European companies don't test on animals any more and the ones that still did until recently are phasing it out due to new European laws. Don't believe every rumour you hear on the Internet, it's just people gossiping... |
I guessed this when she released the first two riddles. I honestly didn't think it was true when that rumor came out about a month ago. But I'm really happy for her. Lancome is a very classy, elegant brand and she's following in the footsteps of some brilliant, iconic people: Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, Isabella Rosselini, Clive Owen, Juliette Binoche, etc. I can't wait to see Emma's campaign and I'm definitely buying that fragrance! Congratulations, Emma! |
wow!!!! |
They're apparently launching a new Tresor at midnight fragrance. It would be cool if it was that because the advert would be all dark and stuff lol |
from what i can recall, Lancome lead this type of biz model and Burberry merely followed suit-- go after the younger generation by getting classy celebrities of the same age. These brands used to be known as "your Mom's/ Grandma's labels", but its obvious that they've switched gears. Emma is the second young celebrity Lancome signed btw, the first being the Youtube beauty guru Michelle Phan who is also about Emma's age. |
She's great for it. Emma is perfection. |
Congrats, all the best to her :) |
That's really exciting! Can't imagine anyone being a better ambassador than Emma. |
Can't wait to see the photoshoots ^_^ |
I'm sure the photos from the shoot will be gorgeous! can't wait to see her in the campaign :D |
