:lol: - Yes I know that feeling all too well, Id like the minutes for it though, or pictures, it would be good to see what is discussed.

I'd love to go to a convention like this...unfortunatley, that would require buying a plane ticket.

More information please! This is really interesting. I mean, my mom reads Harry Potter. I just wonder if the adults at this convention are as obsessed as we are!!

We're considering making the conference proceedings (a compilation of the papers presented at the conference) available to non-attendees after the conference - please stay tuned to the Convention Alley website for the latest information. We'll also try to upload photos of the conference to the website.

In terms of more information: The conference is sponsored by the Harry Potter for Grown-Ups Yahoo group and will feature programming sessions by fans from both the academic and non-academic worlds; a keynote address by Harry Potter Lexicon creator Steve Vander Ark; a banquet in honor of Harry's birthday on July 31 including cake and ice cream; a vendor marketplace; a games room; and a screening of the new PoA movie.
