Brilliant interview and work!!! :D

His work was really memorable. There's something about the light disappearing from Dumbledore's face in that scene that makes me hold my breath.

And March 7th is actually next Sunday.

Cool interview!

I really loved HBP because of the cinematography. I wish he came back for DH. :( The only problem I have with his work was that sometimes it was too dark. I was just watching HBP before and at times I couldn't see their faces.

Lottiepot 02-28-2010 11:15 PM

Cool!

:D

princess of*hp* 02-28-2010 11:19 PM

Hope he wins! I would've done HP 7, but that's just me. And the Oscars are on Sunday, darling house elves. Not Monday. :P

I'll be watching; it's my favorite awards show.

Lottiepot 02-28-2010 11:20 PM

That's cool. The cinematography on all the HP films are truely amazing. All the cast and crew deserve lots of credit.

Unfortunately I have to agree. Watching it on a large-ish screen at home it appeared extremely dark in certain scenes but some scenes are beautifully light. The cave scene is spectacular and Hogsmeade scenes in the snow are extremely bright hence why I didn't turn up the brightness.

However I cannot give Bruno Delbonnel enough credit. His work is marvelous!

Bruce Delbonnel did a fabulous job. He truly does deserve that Oscar for his work.

Personally, I never had any issues with certain scenes being too dark on my television. Everything was lit so beautifully, and sometimes very subtly...
