The fifth annual A Celebration of Harry Potter kicked off with a bang, starting with a panel discussion including cast members of the saga Bonnie Wright, James and Oliver Phelps, Natalia Tena, and Stanislav Yanevski. The five talked about their time working on the series, their enjoyment of the celebration and Universal Orlando Resort, and more. That can be watched here.
Moving forward was the opening night ceremony, including new information from Audible about the upcoming
Quidditch Through the Ages audiobook by Andrew Lincoln; the next stop of Harry Potter: The Exhibition in Milan, Italy; and some teasers about the upcoming Harry Potter mobile apps from Portkey Games, Hogwarts Mystery and Wizards United.
The opening night ended with beautiful live renditions of score pieces from the first four Harry Potter movies, led by Harry Potter Concert Series conduction Justin Freer. A few bits from that can be seen here.
