mellamaet's 100 Drabbles for Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley- Sa13+ STORY BANNER BY ECLECTIC BEGINNINGS GRAPHICS Hi, I'm Ella and I'm here to write 100 violent, sometimes romantic, hopefully funny and irresistibly cute drabbles for Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley, however unconventional they may be SPOILER!!: My themes |
21. Veela •NOT-SO-HIDDEN HATE• “I can’t believe your sister-in-law is a veela.” Draco taunted as he walked alongside Ginny through the corridors “It must be hard for you, you know, living with her, knowing you can never be that pretty” Ginny stopped to glare at Malfoy. It was bad enough that he was comparing her to Fleur, now he was hinting that she was ugly! Draco smirked at her, thinking that he had won the battle, next thing he knew, he was on the ground, his head throbbing from the fall “Never compare me to…phlegm.” Then she left before he could even stand |
64. Nap •PHOTOGRAPH• “Keep quiet!” Ginny whispered as she crept towards a sleeping Slytherin. Then she took the camera from Colin and aimed it carefully at his face. “He looks so angelic when asleep…” She said softly as she watched him behind the camera lens. Then as she was staring at him, she saw his eyelids, moving slightly. Taking care not to wake him, Ginny was about to take the photograph when a pair of grey eyes were suddenly glaring at her from the other side of the lens. “uh-oh.” Ginny said as she ran off, leaving a confused and sleepy Malfoy behind |
94. Allergic • MAY CAUSE ALLERGIES• Ginny was delivering stuff for the twins as she walked around Diagon Alley with a bunch of sweets with her. “Who to give these to?” She asked herself as she looked around until a smirk appeared on her face as she walked towards a lonely Slytherin eating at Florean’s. “Malfoy. My brothers said you ordered these?” She asked while gesturing to the boxes that she had set on the table. Then she walked away, smirk firmly on her face as he ate one. Then suddenly, he was getting red sores everywhere, and the label “May cause allergies” taunting him silently. |
1. Herbology • NOT MY PROBLEM • Ginny yawned as Professor Sprout mentioned something that she couldn’t care about. She hated Herbology, it was boring. No offense to Neville or anything. She looked past the glass and saw the older students running around the grounds. Lucky, then a certain Slytherin, who had been walking close by, caught her eye. Draco turned when he felt that someone’s eyes on him. “Bored?” Draco mouthed with a smirk on his face “You have no idea...” The redhead replied silently “Not my problem.” Draco said with a light shrug as he walked away, leaving an annoyed red head behind |
26. Quill •ALL FOR A QUILL• For the All Kinds of Hearts mini-challenge Ginny snuck around the corridors in her pajamas. She had to forget her ONLY quill in the potions classroom before she left. “So far, so good.” She murmured as she reached a corner. Suddenly footsteps echoed along the corridors, making Ginny jump in fear; When she turned, she was relieved to find that it was only Malfoy, with a familiar quill with him “Looking for something?” he asked “Mine.” Ginny grunted while jumping for her quill as it dangled over her, making her fall “So, its hearts today, hm?” He teased as he dropped the quill and walked away chuckling. |
8. Potions • IS THAT A CHALLENGE? • Draco stirred the potion in the cauldron for the last time before transferring the contents into a glass vial. Then he turned around, with all intentions to look for a certain red-headed female, when he saw her leaning by the door frame of the potions class room. “Ginevra. So nice to see you” He said in a smooth tone that often made women blush. But Ginny was unaffected. She eyed the potion in his hands and crossed her arms sternly “Love potions don’t work on me Draco” Ginny said challengingly Draco smirked, “We’ll see about that, won’t we?” |
81. Depression • MAFOYS DON'T NEED HELP • Draco was depressed. Soon, the Dark Lord would lose his patience and kill his family. He had failed just like his father…Only his Aunt Bella was useful to the Dark Lord’s eyes. Then he turned around when he felt a hand on his shoulder. “Are you alright?” Ginny asked. She knew she shouldn’t be fraternizing with the enemy, but he looked really miserable I don’t need your help Weasley.” He said coldly, but he was glad for the sympathy “Suit yourself, go and be miserable then.” She retorted angrily as she stalked off with Draco watching her from behind. |
61. Kiss • AS RED AS HER HAIR • for the Christmas Drabble Challenge It was Christmas again, the time of dreaded mistletoe and Ginny hadn’t seen a single one until she saw Malfoy blocking the doorway. She sighed and glared at the blonde who wouldn’t leave his spot. “Scared of me Weaslette?” He asked maliciously Ginny was about to reply when she saw what was growing above them. Mistletoe. She moved to get away, but Draco was fast, before she knew it, her lips were against his in a kiss. Then after second, they parted and without another word, Draco walked away with a smirk on his face, leaving a blushing Ginny behind. |
40. Spell • MATHCING ORANGE • Tangy Challenge Draco Malfoy was having the worst day of his life. Being called orange-head was not fun. This was the last time he was going to let his girlfriend near his hair “I didn’t know the spell would go wrong.” Ginny reasoned out as if she read Draco’s thoughts “My hair was fine the way it was.” He insisted as strand of orange hair fell over his eyes “I swear, I will find a spell to fix that” Ginny promised “And I’ll be casting it. I don’t want an orange body to go with my hair.” He concluded with a frown. |
2. Muggle Studies[ •NO HELP AT ALL• Draco leaned back against the library chair and sighed as he glared at the baseball bat in front of him. It was stupid, why would he even want to care? Then he glanced to the side and saw She-weasel reading a book. He walked over to her with the bat in hand “Weasley, you know all about muggles, what’s this for?” He asked as he raised the bat “I’m not helping you Malfoy” She replied distractedly “I don’t even like you.” Draco glared but decided against doing anything as we walked away, vowing to get revenge. |
88. Sweet Tooth •THE WINNER GETS ALL• Cookie Craze drabble challenge Ginny crept down the kitchen as noiselessly as she could. After she had entered through the pear painting and into the kitchen her jaw dropped in shock at what she saw. Malfoy. Chocolate chip cookies. Last piece. She watched helplessly as the blonde tossed in the last bite of said cookie into his mouth carelessly and licked his fingers clean. Then he glanced towards the furious red head and smirked in triumph. Then he sauntered over to her, leaned in close and, his breath still smelling faintly of the cookies that he had eaten earlier, whispered “I win” then left. |
87. Plaid •MAN HUNT• April Fools Drabble Challenge It was April Fools’ and was Ginny heading for the Head boy dormitories, she smiled when she saw the familiar painting which meant that she was in the right place and pointed her wand at it, but…it was open. She slipped inside and headed for Malloy’s room. He had been ridiculing her during every holiday…but now she was getting revenge. She pointed her wand at the sleeping boy, and then she left. Hours later, the whole school witnessed Draco Malfoy wearing a set of robes in plaid with a scowl on his face and his eyes searching for the culprit. |
92. Chocolate •HI, I'M DRACO MALFOY• For the New Beginnings drabble challenge Draco was happily eating the chocolates that his mother had sent him while walking down the corridors when he heard crying nearby. When he saw who it was, he was surprised to find that it was Weasley. “Are you ok?” He didn’t know why he cared…maybe because he knew how terrible crying alone felt like. “You don’t care. You’re a Malfoy.” She merely replied. Stubborn girl. “Fine, let’s do this again, shall we?” He said as he sat down beside her “Hello, I’m Draco, just Draco. You are?” “I’m Ginny, nice to meet you” She said with a watery smile |
54. Dare • THIS IS ALL BLAISE ZABINI'S FAULT • “Come on Draco, I dare you to do it.” Blaise said with a smirk as he folded his arms across his shoulders “No. Not in a million years, Blaise.” The blonde answered back indifferently from behind his book. “Of you wanna do it so bloody bad then do it yourself.” Blaise scowled at his fair-haired friend and muttered a single word. “Chicken.” Draco lowered the book to glare at the dark boy and said “Am not.” “Now please, shut up, Blaise. I really won’t do it.” The next day, Ginny found a love letter on her desk from Draco Malfoy. |
36. Muggle •MINI SKIRTS AND MUGGLES• Draco and Ginny sat across one another with a small circular table between them at a muggle café near the ministry entrance. Then the blonde’s eyes riveted to a particularly hot brunette that walked by in a short skirt and an extremely fitted shirt. Draco moved to stand with intentions to ask for the woman’s name when Ginny spoke and said in a self satisfied tone “See, you couldn’t stop yourself from ogling girls even if they were muggles.” Draco, ashamed at being caught staring at a muggle, cleared his throat and kept his mouth shut during the whole meal. |
6. Divination • PRETTY LITTLE RED HEAD • “This is stupid.” Draco muttered under his breath as he idly stared at his tea cup, understanding nothing on whatever the tea leaves wished to tell him. Suddenly murmuring erupted around the room and all eyes were drawn towards the door where a small red head stood waiting with a frown on her face. “Professor.” Ginny called “Professor McGonagall said that I’m supposed to transfer here.” Trelawney nodded then looked around “Well, you would have to sit next to Mr. Malfoy. It’s the only vacant seat left.” Draco mentally grinned. Ok, he was starting to like this class. A lot. |
4. Ancient Runes • YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED • Draco was sitting in the library, staring at the rune stones that they had been provided in class. Stupid runes. Then he watched as a familiar girl sat on the seat right across him, opened a book and started writing on some parchment. Perfect. Draco took one of the stones and aimed, then threw; hitting Ginny on the forehead. Ginny glared at Malfoy before returning to her work, seconds later, Draco threw another stone and smirked. He watched as Ginny glared “Stop now or I will hex you.” Draco gulped before gathering his things and leaving the girl in peace. |
96. Socks •HAPPY BIRTHDAY?• Draco jumped out of bed in panic. He had forgotten that today was his girlfriend’s birthday and he had slept through the WHOLE day. He was dead. He looked outside and groaned. All the shops had already closed for the day. Suddenly, a pop was heard and Twinky bowed before him with a package. Without knowing what it was, Draco grabbed it then apparated to The Burrow where Ginny was. “Happy Birthday” He said as he handed her the package Ginny opened them and found a pair of socks inside. “Socks?” Then she sighed “Draco, you forgot again, didn’t you?” |
52. Bore •CHILD-LIKE MINUS THE WONDER• Post-Hogwarts AN: If you don't like them being married, then I am so terribly sorry. Draco Malfoy was bored. It wasn’t his fault that the graduation was so boring. It seemed so much more exciting when he was the one on stage. He glanced at his wife who had teas on her eyes and smiled. Then he raised his finger to her cheek and started poking her. “What the –?” The startled Ginny said as she glanced at Draco who had apparently gone mental “What are you doing?” “I’m bored.” “You’re acting like a kid. Stop it.” She reprimanded with a glare Draco scowled as he dropped his hand and sat quietly on his seat. |
76. Zap • THAT'S THE BEST YOU COULD DO? • Ginny and Ron glared at one another murderously. “Ginny, if you don’t stop seeing Malfoy right now, I will hex you!” Ron threatened as he tightened his grip on his wand Ginny sneered, a habit that she had taken from Draco, at her brother and said “As if.” “I bloody well will!” Ginny simply rolled her. She was being very patient right now. Another trait from Draco “Fine then!” Ron finally cried out as he drew his wand towards Ginny and said…. “Zap.” Malfoy, who was calmly standing beside Ginny snorted “Zap? That was the best that you could do?” |
99. Newspaper • EXTINGUISHED FIRE • Draco held the newspaper tightly in his hands as he watched the sun rise from his bedroom window. He wished he had never looked at the Daily Prophet this morning, but even though, he would have to find out sooner or later. The death eaters downstairs would be celebrating. Maybe this was what Ginny meant. Acting strong when you know you aren't. “Draco! Come here! We have good news!” His father suddenly called from his study, sounding cheerier than he did in months. Draco sighed as he tossed the paper aside with the headline that read: |
53. Chase • TRAITORS! • Ginny watched as Malfoy and Snape ran from the tower, she knew they had probably done something bad and so she moved to chase them, ignoring the calls of protests from her friends and family “Get back here you git!” She called out as she threw a spell towards the blond but missed as the boy kept running until they reached the grounds where she could see smoke coming from Hagrid’s hut. Ginny stopped for a moment to catch her breath when she was roughly pushed aside by Harry who was too busy chasing after the potions master to notice. |
39. Duel •TRAITORS!• Ginny stood up from the ground to follow Harry who was now pointing his wand at Snape. She glanced to her side and found that Malfoy was standing nearby, his wand pointed towards her, but his face showing his fear. Ginny drew her wand and glared at him. She was supposed to hate him, he poisoned her brother, he hurt Harry, but she didn’t. She wanted him to come out alive, because she knew he wasn’t entirely evil. Suddenly a flash of red flew towards her, missing her by inches. Alright, he wanted a fight, she would give him one. |
27. Owl • A LETTER • Ginny beside a window in The Burrow; to a casual on-looker the red head looks relaxed, but to those who know her well, they could see the tense outline of her small shoulders and the constant clenching and unclenching of her fist. She hadn’t heard from him in days and she was getting worried. Suddenly when all hope seem to have left her, a gray owl came flying into the window with a square of parchment on its beak. Ginny sighed. That didn’t make her feel better. |
13. Quidditch • NOWHERE BUT DOWN • Ginny was annoyed. Harry had been getting a lot of detentions lately and so she was left to manage the chaotic team on her own. She hovered in the air on her cleansweep and glared at the players who were fighting on their brooms below her. She took a deep breath to calm herself. Suddenly she heard a loud laugh from the ground and saw a blonde in green Quidditch robes walking towards them. Ginny flew towards him “What are you doing here, Malfoy?” Instead of answering her question, Draco glanced behind Ginny and said “You are so gonna lose.” |
51. Act • ROMEO AND JULIET• Ginny leaned in close towards Draco’s face, her face inches from his, her lips only a breath away. “G-Ginny...” Draco said uncertainly as he felt his face grow warm at the proximity. He could see every freckle dotting her face, along the bridge of her nose... “Its Juliet, remember?” Ginny suddenly said as she drew away with a frown on her lips “What?” The confused blonde answered “We’re doing Romeo and Juliet, remember? I’m supposed to be acting as Juliet…” She explained slowly “You don’t really think I wanted to kiss you, right? Then Ginny added. “It’s called acting Malfoy.” |
48. Leprechauns ]• Ginny was sitting on a bench at the courtyard with Colin while looking up at a rainbow while discussing the existence of Leprechauns. “Do you think they’re real Colin?” Ginny asked as the glanced down to look at her friend “Yeah, I think Leprechauns are real.” Suddenly someone laughed mockingly and both turned to see that it was Draco. “Ginevra there is as small as one.” Ginny glared at the boy before pointing her wand at him, said a spell, and then laughed “There, now you’re as green as one, Malfoy.” Before standing up to leave with Colin trailing behind her. |
69. Slap • WHACK! • Draco and Ginny were sitting by the lake with Ginny resting her head on his shoulder. “What does a slap feel like?” Draco asked, genuinely curious. Ginny looked up at the blonde disbelievingly “Are you for real?!” “Sometimes, I ask myself the same question.” Draco answered with a smug smirk Suddenly a palm flew across Draco’s cheek, leaving a bright red mark on his pale skin. “Ow! That hurt woman!” Draco said as he caressed his poor cheek “There, now you know what it feels like.” Ginny said as she laughed before placing her head on Draco’s shoulder once again. |
58. Hoot • GET YOUR OWL OUT OF HERE! • It was the dead of the night and not a sound could be heard as the young couple lay asleep underneath the blankets. Hoot Ginny’s eyes opened as she looked around for the source of the sound, but…nothing Hoot. Irritated, Ginny threw the covers aside and jumped out of bed to look for the incriminating sound. When she turned, she saw a pair of eyes staring at her and she realized what it was. “Draco, how many times do I have to tell you not to keep that blasted owl in here?!” She said as she shook the blonde awake |
34. Parseltounge • LATE NIGHT PRACTICE SESSIONS • While doing her rounds, Ginny stopped walking when she heard hissing from the corner. She froze, remembering her disastrous first year… No…impossible, Harry killed the basilisk, remember? She drew her wand and pointed at the offender with her eyes shut. Suddenly the hissing stopped “Why are you pointing your wand at me Weaselette?” Ginny opened her eyes and found that it was just Malfoy Whew. “What were YOU doing? Crouched in the corner hissing?! One would think you’ve gone mental!” Ginny retorted “I—I was trying to practice parseltounge…” Draco admitted “It’s not fair only Potter gets to know how.” |
49. Yule Ball • WALTZING IN HIS ARMS • Draco, twirled around the dance floor with his date, Pansy, in his arms. “Look Drakey, Longbottom took little Weasley to the Yule ball.” Pansy said with a mocking sneer as she looked behind Draco where she could see the two friends. Draco craned his head to look at the little redhead and indeed, there she was dancing with Neville Longbottom, who surprisingly was dancing spectacularly “She cleans up good for a Weasley.” Draco commented as he returned his attention to his date before one last glance at Ginny, making the black haired girl in front of him frown in disapproval |
14. Hogwarts, A History • FONDNESS OF BOOKS • Ginny sat quietly under a tree at the courtyard when a shadow loomed over her, only to find than Draco Malfoy standing there. “Got no friends, Weasley?” He chidingly as he, blocked the light, with Crabbe and Goyle flanked on either side of him Ginny glared and replied “Like you have any, Malfoy.” “At least I don’t go around chasing someone who won’t notice me.” Ginny huffed than whacked Malfoy on the head with her book “I can see why Hermione is so fond of this book.” She said smugly as she held up her copy of ‘Hogwarts, A History’ |
73. Warn • GOOD BYE • Ginny couldn’t believe what was happening, she felt like she was in a dream, like she was looking over some scene from someone else’s life, someone other than hers. She looked down on his pale body, the way his blond hair fell over his face in such a casual manner, like he was simply asleep. Merlin, he looked handsome even in death… Ginny merely stared at the dead body of Draco Malfoy, unable to think of a response. “I warned him, he never listens. Now he’s gone.” She thought sadly as she hung her head low before leaving the room. |
84. Anger • IT'S JUST A KISS, RIGHT? • “I dare you Weasley.” Draco said, his warm breath tickling her ear as he leaned in “If you’re as brave as you say, then kissing a Malfoy would be too easy. Besides, it’s just a kiss, right?” He said, throwing her words back at her. Ginny’s glare intensified as she closed the distance between them in an angry kiss. Then she drew away, her face burning. “I told you so.” She said before turning around and returning into the castle Draco smirked as he made his way in a leisurely pace. Getting a Weaselette angry certainly did have its advantages. |
78. Author's Choice (Rain) • SPARKS FLY • Ginny never liked rain. It made everything look terrible…so she avoided it at all costs…That is until Draco had come into her life with his love for rain. “Come on.” He said as he tried to pull Ginny up “Before it starts to rain.” Ginny frowned “That’s just it. It’s going to rain and I’m going to get wet!” The blonde pulled her up just in time as the rain poured; he kissed her tenderly, sending sparks throughout her body, warming her up to her toes “Still not so fond of the rain?” Draco asked as Ginny smiled at him |
56. Fight •THINGS TO DO IN THIRD YEAR• Ginny searched the corridors, looking for Malfoy. She smiled when she saw the boy walking down a corridor alone. The red head crept up in front of him then swiftly punched him on the cheek before running off, her laughter reverberating down the halls as the blonde struggled to stand while howling in pain and holding on to his now swollen cheek. Things to do during third year by Hermione Jean Granger: Punch Draco Malfoy. Check. Next would be… Abuse said blonde with a hippogriff… Now where could she find a one at such short notice? Oh bugger. That sucked. |
7. Care of Magical Creatures • HIPPOGRIFFS • “What are you looking at Weasley?” Draco sneered when he noticed the Weaselette staring at his arm “Nothing.” Ginny replied quickly, looking away Draco smirked, taking her avoidance as bashfulness “In awe of my battle scars, red?” He said with a pompous smirk as he gestured to the sling that he had been wearing since the Hippogriff incident “Not really.” She said with a careless shrug, she already knew what happened, and besides, she could never be impressed with someone as vile as him “I just never thought of you as the type to get beaten up by a bird” |
100. Homework • A SILENT TRUCE • Ginny couldn’t believe it. She should have listened to Hermione and finished her homework early! Now look, she was in the library at the wee hours of the evening, doing her potions homework, trying not to fall asleep. Just then, she heard another set of footsteps enter the quiet library, the redhead looked up and found herself face-to-face with none other than Draco Malfoy. They glared at each other for a moment, then noticing the ink bottles, parchment, and books that they both had, they looked away silently,; understanding their silent, temporary truce. They really needed to finish their homework. |
97. Dictionary • LEARN THE DEFINITION OF POOR! • Post-Hogwarts “Is there a synonym for poor?” Lyra Malfoy asked out loud as she tried to finish her summer homework for History of Magic. “Of course. It’s Weasley.” Draco said automatically with a grin before he could stop himself. Ginny then looked up from the book that she had been reading and glared at her husband venomously. Draco blinked and slightly cowered under the redhead’s wrath as he looked down on his shoes apologetically “Sorry love, conditioned reaction.” Later that night, Draco Malfoy found himself sleeping on the uncomfortable couch in the drawing room after having a dictionary thrown at him... |
98. Pajamas • REVEALING SLEEPWEAR • Draco strolled along the halls of Hogwarts, yawning as he did so. He hated prefect duties, it was boring. Nothing fun ever happened during rounds. Suddenly he heard a pitter-patter of hurried steps coming towards him. He quickly drew his wand and waved it around, looking for the unknown culprit. Then a body slammed against him, causing him to tumble into the ground with a loud thud. “What the--!” He started as he looked down and saw Weaslette in nothing but the oversized shirt she uses for pajamas. One thing was for sure. Draco wasn’t complaining about the view. |
95. Snowball • GIANT SNOWBALLS • Ginny and the rest of her dorm mates were seated in a circle as they talked about boys, clothes and boys into the night. “Ron Weasley is such a hottie!” A girl with blonde hair said as she munched on a licorice wand “Eew!” Ginny exclaimed as she shuddered in disgust “No, not really…” “Oh! I know, Draco Malfoy!” Said a different girl as the others nodded in enthusiastic agreement. “He sort of looks like a giant snowball to me…” Ginny commented softly, thinking of his pale skin and equally pale hair as the girls collapsed into another wave of giggles. |
93. Chicken • DISASTROUS FIRST DATES • Post-Hogwarts Ginny looked across the table worriedly as she watched Draco simply stare at his food “What’s wrong Draco? You’re not eating.” She asked worriedly The blonde in looked down on his lap in embarrassment and mumbled something incoherent “What was that? I can’t here you.” Ginny said as she leaned over the table trying to hear Draco’s soft mumbles “It’s just that…I don’t eat chicken.” He repeated, bit louder this time Ginny then erupted into laughs causing a few muggles to glare at their direction “It’s not funny!” The former Slytherin said vehemently “They eat off the ground! It’s gross.” |
86. Daring • DARING WEASLEYS • Ginny tugged on her skirt self-consciously because she was wearing one of her incredibly shorter skirts. She walked through the crowded corridors, careful not to show too much skin…unfortunately, her quill dropped from her hands. If it hadn't been her last quill, she would have left it there… She bent down, trying to reach for her quill but stopped halfway when she heard a chuckle behind her. “I didn’t know you could be daring, Weasley.” Draco Malfoy said as he picked the quill off the floor and handed it to the furiously blushing girl before walking away while chuckling. |
85. Snappish • MOOD SWINGS • Post-Hogwarts Draco Malfoy was tired. He hadn’t slept for 2 days since had kept on changing moods faster than one could apparate. So far, she has gone through elated, happy, depressed, angry, hungry, and excited, and now she was asleep...thank Merlin…maybe he could get some rest now? Just as he was about to close his eyes though, his wife woke up and glared at him “Draco! You’re going to be late for work!” She snapped angrily. The blonde groaned in frustration as he crawled out of bed and headed for the bathroom, great. Today she was in a snappish mood. Perfect. |
89. Past • THE RIFFRAFF • “Draco, don’t associate yourself with those riffraff, do you hear me?” Lucius Malfoy asked his 11-year-old son as he accompanied him to the train, keeping his glare at the direction of the Weasleys. “Yes father.” Dracoanswered as he too looked towards the group of redheads and proceeded to glare at them, but stopped when gray eyes were met with a pair of brown ones belonging to the girl who was being restrained by her mother’s hand. He could tell that he would have a hard time staying away from said riffraff once that girl joined her brothers in Hogwarts. |
90. Present • LEAVE HIM? NEVER. • Post Hogwarts AN: I seriously took it as "Present" like 2011 kind of present. “Fancy seeing you here, Weasley.” Draco said smoothly as he stood behind the redhead who was standing in front of the bar, nursing a glass firewhisky in her hands. “Same goes for you, Malfoy.” Ginny answered without glancing over her shoulder as she took a sip of her drink “So, where’s Potter?” The former Slytherin asked as he called for a refill for both of their drinks Ginny scowled at the mention of her future husband and answered “Probably working late again.” Draco opened his mouth to speak but Ginny plowed on “No Draco, that doesn’t mean I’m leaving him.” |
91. Future • FULL CIRCLE • Post Hogwarts “Come on. We wouldn’t you boys to miss the train.” Harry said to his boys as he pushed both of them forward. Ginny was about to turn around and follow but her gaze caught someone else’s as gray and brown clashed with one another once again after years of not seeing one another. His eyes fell down on the little girl who she was holding, much like how she was held by her own mother when he first saw her. It seems like his life had finally come to a full circle. Then she walked away, leaving him to stare. |
83. Fearful • THUNDERSTORMS • Thunder crashed and Ginny cowered in a dark corridor, trying to protect herself from the sound of the storm. Normally, she would have been asleep, but she got hungry and decided that a trip to the kitchens was necessary; she didn’t know that there was going to be a thunderstorm. Thunder crashed again, as she cowered even deeper into the corner. Then, a few minutes later Draco Malfoy was standing in front of her, his wand, lit up, held high. He then crouched down, took her into his arms and comforted her as they waited for the storm to pass. |
82. Careful • MOVING IN • Post Hogwarts “Draco! Careful! That’s really old!” Ginny exclaimed as she stood on top of the grand staircase watching people move her things into Malfoy Manor. It wasn’t as if she wanted to live here, but Draco had insisted...so here she was, moving her things in, much to Draco’s displeasure since he promised to help. “I’ve been nothing but careful!” Draco retorted angrily, but at that moment, the old frame that he had hung over the mantle fell off, causing it to shatter into a thousand glittering pieces. Ginny placed her hands on her hips and said “It doesn’t look like it.” |
77. Cheerful • GOOD MORNING! • “Good morning!” Ginny said jovially as she passed Draco at the corridor on her way to potions Draco, who had been sleepily shuffling his way to Divination, woke up with a start as his gaze followed the cheerfully skipping Weaselette down the corridor before disappearing down the staircases. He blinked a few times, trying to make sure that he hadn’t dreamt that encounter up. He continued staring for a few minutes before he shook his head disbelievingly, as he continued his trek to Divination class, this time with a huge, smile on his face that he found difficult to hide. |
75. Yodel • KITTY GOT YOUR TONGUE? • Ginny mustered all of the in her lungs and yodeled long and loud just as she had seen in those muggle movies as she stood in the snow-covered courtyard “Seriously, could you get any more uncivilized?” Draco suddenly said in a derisive tone as he leaned against the atone arch by the wall and stared at her, an amused smirk on his face Ginny glared at the boy in question and retorted “Seriously, could you get any paler?” before walking away, leaving a fuming Draco Malfoy behind. Then when she was already a distance away, she glanced over her shoulder and said “What? Kitty got your tongue?” |
80. Author's Choice (Regrets) • A LITTLE MORE FREE • AN: Was inspired by Katelyn Tarver's Song "A Little More Free" “I can’t believe you’re doing this.” Ginny said angrily as she stood there, staring at the stormy gray eyes of Draco Malfoy “I need to see other people, Gin.” Draco said, using the nickname that he knew she hated “Besides, it would never work out between us.” “You’ll regret this.” The redhead replied nastily as she slapped him and stormed away Weeks later, Draco found her in the company of none other than Harry Potter, as they walked together with their hands connected. “Regret it now?” She asked him nastily as she breezed past him with her boyfriend in tow. |
79. Author's Choice (Cookies) • COOKIE WARS • Draco and Ginny stared at one another threateningly before reaching out for the cookie on the counterat the same time, effectively grabbing the said cookie. “Give it up Malfoy!” Ginny said as she tugged on the cookie as best as she could “Weasley, I know you’re poor, but I didn’t know you would steal food from the kitchens.” Draco mocked, hoping to anger the redhead so that she would drop the solitary cookie. The girl glared at him before tugging once more, effectively dividing the cookie in half, then watching it crumble into a heap of crumbs in their hands. |
74. X-Tinguish • FIRE EXTINGUISHERS • “What’s this?” Draco asked as he picked up an extremely heavy, red metal thing from the wall “That is an extinguisher, Mr. Malfoy.” The professor replied as she glanced at the boy who was examining the metal thing with mischievous interest as she glanced around for approaching muggles. “Look Weasley, it’s as red as your hair.” He said nastily as he held it up to her face, accidentally pulling on the safety spring, releasing a foamy substance at the girl. The professor groaned; she should have known better than taking the 5th and 4th years away for a field trip |
72. Vex • CRASH! • Ginny sat on one of the chairs as she diligently read the book that she was supposed to finish as Malfoy poked her arm with his quill repeatedly. “Quit it.” She said, turning a page, hoping to ignore the young blonde. But her efforts were futile as he persevered on pestering her even more. “Malfoy! Quit it!” Ginny exclaimed as she pushed herself off the chair, causing it tumble down with a crash. “Weasley! 71. Untie • I TRIED TO HELP YOU. • “Malfoy!” Ginny called out to the blonde who was making his way towards the greenhouses. Draco glanced back, but looked away once again, disregarding her when he saw that it was only Ginny Weasley “Mafoy!” The girl called out again “I’m trying to help you!” Draco shrugged as he called back, not even glancing at her direction “I don’t need any help, especially from you.” “Fine, Suit yourself.” Ginny replied with a frown as she watched him roll down the steep hill, after stepping on his untied shoelaces. “I was trying to tell you.” She said as she walked away |
70. Teem • PARTY AT THE MALFOYS • Lucius and Narcissa walked into Malfoy Manor and were surprised to find the house absolutely filled with dancing teenagers - all intoxicated! Lucius called out “What is going on here?!” Narcissa looked around the room, a frown on her face as her precious vases stood on tables filled with glasses of firewhisky. Then her eyes found a pair pressed against the wall, the boy who had platinum blonde hair and a girl who had long, vivid red hair. She tapped her husband on the shoulder, pointing towards the pair who seemed very preoccupied, then promptly fainted in her husband’s arms. |
68. Roar • HAPPY BIRTHDAY • Post-Hogwarts Ginny smiled mischievously as she leaned over to watch her husband sleep peacefully, his shoulders moving up and down slightly with each breath he took…soon that peace would be shattered. The said redhead reached for her wand, pointed it to her throat and cast a silent ‘Sonorus’ on herself. Then she took a deep breath and roared loudly in her magically amplified voice, causing the former Slytherin to jump off the bed, grab his wand and stand on the floor, is stance ready for a duel. “Happy Birthday, Darling.” She said with a grin, earning her a glare from Draco. |
67. Quell • RISK • Post Hogwarts Ginny sat on the floor of their room, with her husband sitting across her, a look of concentration on his face as his eyes focused on the board game that her mother had sent over. “Are you planning on moving yet, Draco?” Ginny asked impatiently, she glanced at the board and realized that with one more move, he was going to win. Draco glared at her before realizing what his wife saw earlier, Draco ‘attacked’ Ginny’s last territory. “I conquered you!” He said as celebrated on his own, causing the red head to roll her eyes at his childish behavior. |
66. Pace • MARRY ME? • Post-Hogwarts “Will you stop pacing, Draco?” Blaise said as he watched him walk back and forth the room with a velvet box in his hands “I can’t, I’m nervous!” The blonde said as he walked past the dark man again Blaise rolled his eyes and found Ginny standing at the door, unnoticed by the blonde “I suggest you quit talking mate.” Blaise said “What is she doesn’t want to marry me?” Draco continued, ignoring his friend’s advice, but stopped when he saw the girl in question grinning at him. “I guess you heard all that?” Draco asked with a sheepish smile |
65. Ooze • DETENTION • Draco stared at the yellowish pus oozing out of the bubotuber as wrinkled his nose in disgust. He couldn’t believe he had to scoop those things off the tables as detention! They were gross! Just then he heard a sound from the front of the greenhouse and saw Ginny Weasley standing by the door, a self-satisfied smirk on her face “Serves you right for tripping Harry into a pile of dung.” The blonde glared at her before scooping a handful of the pus and throwing it at her, but missing as she dived down. Damn her and her quick reflexes. |
63. Mooch • MISSING SHIRTS • “Ginny, have you seen my shirt?” Draco asked his girlfriend who had just walked in “I borrowed it, remember?" Draco peered out from his trunk and glared at the redhead who had taken to lounging on his bed - his shirt on her. “When did you borrow it?” The blonde asked, he was running late as it is no sense in hurrying now. “Last year.” She replied Draco’s eyes widened as he frowned “Do you over plan on returning it?” “Nope.” Ginny replied as Draco groaned. Did it seriously run in their family to borrow stuff and not return it? |
62. Lope • UPHILL • Post Hogwarts “Couldn’t you run faster, Draco?” Ginny called out as she stopped on top of the hill at the back of the burrow “Can’t you run at all?!” Draco glared at her before sprinting into some sort of a half hearted run, looking like an idiot who was trying to run, but trying not to look like it. “What. Was. That?!” Ginny asked in between laughs as she futilely tried to contain her laughter when he reached her Draco glared at the redhead as he stormed over to the other side of the small hill ignoring the laughter from his fiancé. |
60. Joke • HAPPY CHRISTMAS • “Happy Christmas, Draco.” Ginny said as she smiled at her boyfriend of a year now, handing him a beautifully wrapped present in green and silver. Draco smiled at her gratefully before lifting the lid, therefore causing a minor explosion, and white powder showering on the pair, causing Ginny Weasley to erupt into a fit of laughter. Draco glared at her as he wiped the white substance off his pale, pointed face and brushed it off his hair “It’s Christmas, Gin. Not April Fools.” Ginny pouted at him crossly as she crossed her arms and said “Can’t you take a joke?” |
59. Ignore • OH, HEY. I DIDN'T SEE YOU THERE • Post-Hogwarts “Hey Draco, look at my new dress!” Ginny said as she twirled in front of him, but was ignored, as she pouted and stomped out of the room. Hours later, she came back sporting a new hairstyle, a drastic change compared to her waist long tresses. “Draco, do you like my new hairstyle?” She asked, running a hand through her chin-length hair…but was again ignored. “Malfoy, I’m pregnant!” She shouted as she stomped her foot angrily, causing the boy to drop his magazine “Oh, hey Gin.” He said with a grin “I didn’t see you there, Did you just arrive?” |
57. Gape • YULE BALL • Ginny walked down the stairs as she smiled at Neville who was waiting for her at the bottom of it. She was never one to back out of a dare “Is that a challenge?” The other girls gaped at her bravery – or foolishness – before grinning and adding “No backing out, alright?” The red head scoffed as she rolled her eyes “Of course not.” The next day, while walking to charms, Draco suddenly found himself being kissed by no other than Ginny Weasley before she ran off. |
50. Boggart • PARKINSON • “Hey Weasley, I heard you boggart was that horrid singing Valentine you sent Potter in your first year!” Draco Malfoy called out when he walked by her on the corridors. “That must have been embarrassing, wasn’t it?” The younger Weasley glared the blonde before smirking and stopping on her tracks as she turned around to face the boy, who was being congratulated by his friends “Hey Malfoy, I heard your boggart was Parkinson!” She shouted out for the whole corridor to hear causing the blonde to grumble before running off before the laughter from the other students could even erupt |
47. Portkey • BATHROOMS • Post-Hogwarts “Ginny, hurry up! Our portkey is about to leave!” Draco called out to his wife as he kept one hand on the wicker basket and another on his eldest son, Leo, who was tottering nervously, afraid that he might miss the train. “I’ll be right there!” Ginny called back as she dashed down the stairs in her black suit, a simple strand of pearls around her neck and her fiery red hair fanning behind her. “Wait, I think I need to use the bathroom.” She said, but didn’t move as the basket glowed and spun out with them holding on. |
46. Dungeon • GROSS STUFF • “I hate it down here.” Ginny whispered to Luna as they walked out of the Gryffindor-Ravenclaw potions class “It’s like, only gross stuff down here.” “Hey, there are people, living here too.” Luna said as they passed Draco and his cronies, heading towards their common room. Ginny Weasley rolled her eyes at the group, Brilliant. Then she chuckled as they climbed the stairs back to the surface of the castle “Like I said before, only gross stuff down there.” She said with a grin as she turned for the great hall while the blonde headed for the Ravenclaw common room. |
45. Torch • LIGHT • “Why does it have to be so dark down here?!” Ginny asked no one in particular as she groped around the darkness of the dungeons Suddenly, she heard a deep chuckle behind her as arms circled around her small waist and the previously dark corridor was suddenly flooded with bright light. “That’s what torches are for.” Draco said with a smirk as he stood behind her with a torch held high in hand “Or even a wand for that matter.” The redhead then glared at him, not happy with being proven wrong and said with a scoff “I knew that.” |
44. Ford Anglia • I TOLD YOU SO • Post-Hogwarts “Quit being such a baby.” Ginny told the boy beside her as she pulled him towards the shed, where their recently recovered Ford Anglia was. “That thing ran on its own, Gin!” Draco exclaimed, as he stayed by the door, not wanting to go nearer “Anything that can run on its own and isn’t a living thing is something to be reckoned with!” Ginny rolled her eyes at him as she sat down “See? nothing to worry about!” Suddenly the car ejected the seat, sending the girl to the ground. “I told you so.” Draco said he helped her up. |
43. Headmaster • RUN DRACO RUN • Draco dashed down the stairs, hoping to get away quickly. “I can’t believe you killed, Dumbledore.” A voice said from somewhere behind him, revealing it to be Ginny Weasley, tears brimming her eyes “I—I had to.” Draco started, wanting to explain Suddenly, Snape turned around and glared at the pale boy behind him “Draco! We have to go!” Then he eyed the redhead behind them severely and warned “Don’t get in the middle of this Weasley.” “I’m sorry.” Draco said before he was pulled away by Severus Snape as they both ran for the grounds, anxious to get away |
42. Portraits • RUN DRACO RUN • “Did you see where they went?” Ginny asked the portraits as she frantically tried to keep up with Draco and Snape. The portraits all looked at one another for a moment before pointing straight down the corridor, wishing the red head luck. "Thanks." She replied breathlessly as she reached the end of the corridor, she didn’t know what she would do when she found them, but she was desperately hoping that there was a way for her to change his mind. She wasn’t going to let him leave, not like Harry. She was going to do something about it. |
41. Thestrals • THE GUILT • Draco stepped off the scarlet train sullenly and looked around. There were fewer students left, and none of them looked too happy. When he reached the carriages, he flinched back in disgust at the sight of the things pulling the carriages. “What is that?!” The blonde asked, at that moment a redhead, walked by, answering it “They’re called thestrals, get used to seeing them a lot.” Then his mind wandered to a class long ago, remembering what was so special about the ugly creatures, and he was filled with guilt. You can only see them once you’ve seen someone die. |
38. Patronus • POTTER PATRONUS • “I wonder what my patronus is….” Draco mused as he ate breakfast while working on his charms homework. “You? Feel anything aside from snide amusement?” The redhead who happened to pass by said. Draco glared at her before taking the book and chucking it at her direction as retorted “I supposed your patronus is Potter then?” He said with a sly smirk “After all, he’s all you ever think about.” Ginny glared at him as she sent his book flying through the air, landing in the mushy pile of eggs that used to be his breakfast before she stalked off. |
37. Animagus • FERRETS • “Draco!” Ginny hissed as she followed him into the forbidden forest “Where are we going?” “Trust me.” The blonde simply said as he stopped in a clearing and turned to face her. “I can turn into an animagus now.” He stated proudly “But it’s not registered.” Ginny’s eyes widened in alarm at his words but she said nothing as the blonde started to transform into a small, white creature….a ferret. The red head suddenly burst into an uncontrollable fit of laughter as she stared at the white ferret that stood in front of her. Oh, the irony of it all. |
35. Pureblood • HALF-BLOOD • Post Hogwarts AN: Sorry this isn't DG centered...but, it's all I could think of. Ginny stood by the huge window looking over a green yard with fountains and white peacocks walking around as she sighed. As beautiful as the view was from the room, her mind was somewhere else, in muggle London to be exact. “What are you thinking about?” Draco asked his wife as he walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her small waist. “It just that, I can’t help think that Ron and Hermione’s new son, would be the first Weasley in generations to not be a pureblood.” She admitted “And I feel terrible for even thinking of that” |
33. Classroom • MISSING BOOKS • Ginny walked down the dark corridors and cursed herself for forgetting her book in the classroom, normally she wouldn’t have bothered with it until the next morning, but she had homework and she needed the book. Suddenly, a rustling was heard and the next thing she knew she was being dragged into a classroom with her eyes covered with a blindfold. But before she could comprehend anything, a hard object, which felt like a book, was thrust into her hands and a kiss was swiftly placed on her lips before the blindfold came off, revealing no one in the room. |
32. Common Room • ANGRY INTRUDERS • Draco lounged on one of the chairs in the Slytherin common room and yawned as he turned a page on his book. It was boring but, he couldn’t just let his grades slip. Father would have his head. Suddenly he heard the entrance of the common room open , assuming that it was another Slytherin, he ignored, It but was surprised when he felt a slap, followed by a string of insults from a certain Weaselette in front of him. Before he could question her on how she got into the common room, she ran off back to her tower. |
31. Dress Robes • PARTY PLANS • Post-Hogwarts Ginny rolled her eyes as she watched her husband glare at her for the nth time as she fastened her black earrings on her small ears. “Draco, could you please stop pouting?” Ginny asked with a roll of her eyes as she applied make-up on, keeping her eyes on the mirror. “I hate my dress robes.” Draco complained a frown still on his face “and I really don’t want to leave the Manor tonight.” The redhead laughed as she turned around to face him. “For someone who wears dress robes often, you don’t’ seem to be very fond of them.” |
25. Sorting Hat • GRYFFINDOR • 12-year-old Draco watched as the redhead that he saw in the train earlier enter the great hall. She was also the one who had stood up for Potter at the book store too. Even at 12, he knew what he wanted, and right now, he found himself liking the spunky girl who was now walking to the hat. Her small head engulfed by the old hat. “Gryffindor!” The hat said, sending the lions into cheers. ‘There are plenty of redheads out there.’ Draco thought bitterly as he watched her walk to the Gryffindor table where her family – and Potter –sat. |
30. Feast • THE SHOCKING ANNOUNCEMENT • “You sure you want to do this?” Ginny asked as she let, Draco Malfoy, pull her to the great hall. Draco simply nodded before he gripped the redhead’s shoulders and planted a firm kiss on her lips for all who were present in the welcoming feast to see. Ginny smiled up at him as she glanced towards the Gryffindor table where her family had turned an alarming shade of red, before she grinned up at Draco. “I’ll see you later, ok?” The blonde whispered as he turned and walked towards the Slytherins who all looked as shocked as everyone else. |
29. Pensieve • AS A KID • Post-Hogwarts Draco stood in front of his father’s old pensive as he stared at it with wide eyes. He had gotten bored that afternoon and it seemed like it was a good idea to put all of his old memories into the said pensive and ‘look back’. Oh, how he was wrong. “What’s wrong, Draco?” Ginny asked when she passed through the door of the study, only to find her husband standing there with a dumbfounded expression on his face Draco blinked at her as he tried to process his thoughts before he spoke “Was I that obnoxious as a kid?!” |
28. Timeturner •CONFESSIONS • “I can’t believe I did that.” Draco moaned as he held his head in between his hands “That was so embarrassing.” “I won’t argue with that one.” A voice from the doorway – which Draco ignored – said. “I’m going to need a timeturner after this one, or maybe run away.” Ginny rolled her eyes as she walked towards the older blonde “Shame, I’d miss you.” Draco looked up in surprise at the sound of her voice but didn’t say anything as she walked towards him and sat down. “By the way, I love you too.” Ginny continued with a soft smile. |
24. House Elf • HIS WHEEZY • Draco entered the kitchens, but was followed by Ginny who looked as surprised as him to see him there. “What are you doing here, Weasley?” Draco asked menacingly The redhead rolled her eyes “You don’t own the kitchens, Malfoy.” Fortunately, before a fight could break out between the two, a house elf walked towards them and asked “Master Malfoy, what would he want for his Miss Wheezy?” The pair both blushed violently as they glanced at one another before looking away instantly. “No, she’s not mine ---” Draco started, along with Ginny who was stammering “I would never---” |
5. Astronomy • CONSTELLATIONS • Draco yawned as he leaned against the wall as Professor Sinistra droned on about constellations; seriously class this late should be banned! “Alright everyone, telescopes out! Let’s see what formations you can find!” He brought his telescope out and mounted it on tripods like his classmates, as they gazed up the sky. But he wasn’t looking upward, but instead viewing a girl with vivid red hair walk across the grounds. A girl that he knew was Ginny Weasley. Before he could dwell on this thought, Professor Sinistra’s clipped tone was heard from behind him saying “Enjoying the view, Mr. Malfoy?” |
23. Telescope • I SPY • “I can’t believe you’ve already broken your telescope, Gin.” Mr. Weasley said as he watched her pick out a new telescope off the shelves. She sighed as she picked a silver one up and said “I’m sorry, it just fell apart.” Then picked up the telescope and carried it over the counter to pay for it. “Why don’t you test it first?” Ginny sighed as she held the telescope over her eye and spotted the Draco Malfoy, looking for something too. “Oh, yeah. It’s perfectly fine.” Ginny said as she hurriedly looked away, her cheeks a light shade of pink |
22. Kneazle • CAT-SITTING • “I can’t believe I agreed to cat-sitting…” Ginny huffed irritably as she set Crookshanks down on her lap and stroked the cat’s fur gently, causing it to purr contentedly The redhead then closed her eyes too and leaned back against the tree, but was suddenly disturbed when Crookshanks had started hissing at someone. “What do you want Malfoy?” “Weaslette, I suggest you and that rabid kneazle of yours leave.” The blonde replied with a sneer. Ginny glared as she released Crookshanks, who went after the Slytherin, who was now running away while trying to hex the cat – but sadly failing. |
20. Hogsmeade • RUMORS • “Did you hear about them...” “I heard that they were seen…” “Did you see them around the…?” “Do you think they’re, you know…” “They would make a rather odd pair…” Ginny groaned as she walked down the corridors to her next class. She couldn’t believe this! But of course, she should have expected it. After all, being copped up in a castle for ten months can do things to your brain that you could never explain. Like now, Hogwarts’ infamous gossip mill was on a roll once again. Just because Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy were seen at Hogsmeade together. |
19. Wand • MISSING STICKS • Post-Hogwarts “Where is my wand?!” Ginny screeched as she practically turned their bedroom upside down, looking around everywhere. Her husband, meanwhile, had barely looked up from his newspaper as he continued on reading “Draco! It would be nice to help me!” Ginny said with a glare as Draco lowered his copy of the Daily Prophet and perked an eyebrow at her expectantly “I can’t find my wand!” The redhead cried out as she searched under the furniture. Draco rolled his eyes at her as he stood up from his seat, walked over to Ginny and plucked a stick off her pocket. |
18. Whomping Willow • SAPPY LOVE POEMS • “Oh Ginny Weasley, with hair so red; your words have left so many misled” Draco recited as Ginny stood in front of him, a weirded out expression on her face, but let the blonde continue as he moved to the next set of lines. “your presence alone leaves an afterglow, the punches you throw are as hard as the Whomping Willow” At this Ginny couldn’t help but snort as she valiantly tried to hold back her laughter behind her pursed pink lips. “Seriously? Whomping Willow?” The redhead asked “I was running out of rhymes!” Draco replied with a deep frown |
17. Cauldron • PEWTER • Post-Hogwarts “Copper produces potions faster!” Ginny argued as she and Draco stood in the middle of the shop and glared at one another “You’re just saying that because copper is a Gryffindor color!” The blonde accused “Well, I can say the same for you with the silver cauldron!” His wife retorted with the same angry tone Suddenly a soft, cough broke through the argument as a boy stepped between them and said “Mum, Dad, I need a pewter cauldron. Nothing else.” Draco and Ginny looked at each other sheepishly as they collected a pewter cauldron and went off to pay for it. |
16. Dragonhide Gloves • YOUR HANDS • Draco smiled as he glanced down on their entwined hands, his thumb rubbing small circles on the back of her hand. “What are you thinking of?” The red head asked him as she looked up at him from his shoulder. “It’s snowing.” Draco simply replied as she smiled down at her and pulled her closer to him Ginny chucked at the randomness as she pulled out his dragonhide gloves and handed it to him, but he simply shook his head and pushed the gloves away from him. “Your hands are much warmer than some gloves.” Draco replied with a smile. |
15. Room • THE LACK OF ROOM • “Get off me, Malfoy!” Ginny growled as she pushed the blonde boy away from her, but failed as the hard stone wall pinned them together Draco glared down at the girl in front of him and said “I would love to Weasley, but obviously, I’m stuck here.” Suddenly a soft meow was heard nearby and the two pressed closer to one another in hopes to not be seen by Mrs. Norris Draco then looked down on their pressed bodies and said “Well, we’re pretty snug here.” Ginny glared up at him “Really? I haven’t noticed.”The red head retorted sarcastically |
12. Charms • PAYING ATTENTION • “Right class, this way please.” Professor Flitwick squeaked as he led his group of 5th year Gryffindors and Ravenclaws down the hall to the grounds. They were going to spend their first class outdoors and the small man was apprehensive. Draco turned at the foreign sound, not minding the professor that was speaking up front. He watched as Ginny passed the door, her red hair fanning out behind her as she walked alongside Loony, her face lit up with laughter. Professor McGonagall cleared her throat as she glared at the boy “Are you quite done not paying attention, Mr. Malfoy?” |
11. History of Magic • WRITTEN WARNINGS • Draco yawned as he leaned his cheek against his palm, as he watched Binns float around the room, droning on about wars, when a note suddenly hit him on his head. He reached for the piece of paper and rolled his eyes. The blonde scribbled down a reply before folding the paper into a plane and launching it towards King Weasel. Ron scoffed as his quill scratched against the parchment before he tossed it onto Draco’s head and headed out of the room. |
10. Artihmancy • TRUCE • He hated Arithmancy. He hated it with a passion. It was like muggle mathematics, but worse. And yet, Ginny Weasley flourished in it. One evening, he finally snapped as he gathered his homework and walked over to where the red head and said “I need your help in Arithmancy, Weaslette.” Ginny regarded him for a moment, ready to refuse, but the desperate look in his gray eyes made her do the opposite as she silently offered the seat across her. Even if the lessons were advanced for the redhead, she continued on tutoring the Slytherin; A silent truce between them. |
9. Defense Against the Dark Arts • BEWARE OF HEXES • Draco just say laid there on the ground, complete petrified as he watched the furious Ginny Weasley step over him while throwing him a venomous glare. “Never underestimate me, Malfoy.” She growled as she flounced away, leaving the blonde in the middle of the deserted corridor, leaving him with his thoughts as he waited for spell to wear off. He was never again going to tease her about her hair, or Potter, or her family…unless he wanted to be hexed. He guessed Ginny Weasley would get an O in her OWLs in Defense Against the Dark Arts that was sure. |
