Dare
1. One of the key characters must be a pink octopus named Seymour.
2. Harry, under the influence of a love potion, will swear his undying love for Pansy Parkinson.
3. Draco will challenge Harry to a duel, where the loser must consume a giant pickle.
4. Professor Snape will show up and unexpectedly sing “Best of Both Worlds” by Hannah Montana.
5. Butterscotch sundaes will be eaten by all.


May people wonder what is in the black lake. It is rumored to hold a giant octopus. Little do these people know, they are right. The first people to know are; Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, and Pansy Parkingston. Unlikely trio? You'll have to read to find out what happens.

The first sounds we hear in the beginning of the stoy are *splash* *splash* Harry and Draco weren't paying attention, probably because they weere arguing, and had forgotten that they were walking. Without warning, they fell into the Great Lake.

"Parkingston, help me up." Harry reached for Pansy. She cast a worried glance toward the spot where Draco had disappeared. Then, reluctantly, she reached out for Harry. He grasped her hand and oulled her into the lake. She landed with a splash beside him.

Suddenly, Harry felt himself being grabbed around the waist. He was picked uo and thrown onto the shore. Pansy, then Draco landed beside him. Draco coughed and sputtered, then took short shallow breaths. He coughed again befor he was back to normal. Harry looked at the lake and saw a giant octopus. And it was pink, pink!

"Her dudes, that was not cool," it said. "I was like, totally relaxing. Then spoosh, you disturb me. Seymour no like."

Spoosh? Don't you mean splash?" Pansy asked.

"I mean what I say and I say what I mean," Seymour said. "Like it or leave it. Now drink this dude." Seymour took out a cup and pured a pink liquid into it from his tentacle. Then he handed it to Harry. Harry hesitated, but obediantly drank it.

Suddenly Harry flung the cup to the side and kneeled on the ground. He grasped Pansy's right hand between both of his own.

"Pansy Parkingston," he began. "I love you. I always have and I always will. Please forgive me. Even if you don't, my love is undying."

"Hey Potter, hands off my lady!" Draco exclaimed.

"Never!" Harry exclaimed. "She's mine!"

"Well then, I challenge you to a duel! Winner wins her heart!"

"What about the loser?" Harry asked. Draco considered for a second.

The loser has to consume, a giant pickle!" As he said his last words his voice was lower and he spread his arms dramatically.

"You're on!" Harry took out his wand.

"Expelliarmus!" Draco exclaimed.

"Protego!" Harry yelled immediatly. The disarming spell got blocked by his sheild. "Sectumsempra!" Draco fell to the ground.

Seymour stood over Draco and sneezed. When his snot landed on him, his bleeding stopped.

"Harry, madn, dude, you won!" Seymour said. "Groovy!" Harry kneeled and took Pansy's hand again.

"Pansy Parkingston, will you marry me?" Tears were brimming in her eyes.

"Oh Potter," she began. "Harry. Yes!" She spoke the last word quietly and smiled brightly. Harry hugged her tightly.

Seymour reached underneath one of his tentacles and took out butterscotch sundaes. He handed one to each of them. They all ate happily. Then Seymour took out a giant pickle. He handed it to Draco, who swallowed it whole.

Suddenly, Snape showed up. He began break dancing and singing.
