Level Four Corridor The corridor located on the fourth floor sometimes smells a little like a mixture between a wet dog and a tree, and you can tell who works in the Departments for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and Environmental Regulation and Protection, because they’re the only ones who don’t appear to notice. Keep a close eye on your ankles; some pests (be it creatures or plants) get a little irate when brought indoors or in close proximity to people. The corridor is long and wide and leads from the lifts to Level 4. |

Oh this man had a suggestion! "Bleeding Hearts?!" Ah yes, those beautiful plants. Just the thought of them warmed Rainbow's heart and made him feel as if he had been hit by that passionate inferno of Nature's grace striking into his heart... BLEEEEEDING! He had been stuck in his own thoughts at the moment and sighed, thanking Nature for such a beautiful plant to set upon the world! "That is a brilliant suggestion! Illuminated, even better! Adds that nice magical touch to it, even." Rain took out his wand, conjuring up a fiery and flamey list in the air. "I also think we should incorporate some creature statues? We should represent all of what this floor does! And it'd add that naturey feeeeeeeeel." Quote:

Well. Gilbert found that downright HILARIOUS, and he couldn't stop himself from bursting into a fit of laughter. Not only did their group leader take them to the break room, the room where they were not supposed to go, he had just admitted he had done it on purpose. The man was a COMEDIAN! A very naturey comedian at that. A hero! But Gilbert would keep that opinion to himself. After all, they had WORK to do. Coughing as his laughter started to subside, Gibby rolled himself, because he was still sitting in his spinning chair, closer to the group. And they had already come up with some excellent ideas. "We need a sun!" he piped up, even pointing to a random spot along the corridor. "Right there." It was a good spot, in his opinion. It was in the perfect spot where, where it could be all sunny and beam down on everything. "And we need precipitation!" He was going to say rain, but considering that was the name of their group leader, it might have been confusing. And really, one hilarious Rain was enough. |
Damon stood looking at corridor, willing himself to try and find some way to have an eye for interior design. He listened to Gilbert's suggestion about the sun, looking at the exact point he spotted and nodded slightly. He wasn't so sure about the precipitation aspect, given the fact that the hall already had a smell that would probably turn most off to coming down the corridor in the first place. We could put some Dianthus on the floor along the corridor to try and help with the aroma," Damon suggested, hoping that was worded a little more nicely than saying the corridor stunk. Of course, Damon didn't necessarily mind the smell...it was very earthy to him. "And perhaps we could put the fountain that Elias suggested under the sun?" |
Why was he laughing??? Laughing AT him or WITH him? It didn't matter, for laughter was the best medicine in the world, and thus, he was giving this man five more years in his life! SEE? This was a first step of progress into saving other peoples' lives! HOW PROUD HE WAS OF HIMSELF. "PEACE BE WITH YOU, BROTHER!" He turned towards the empty spot where he suggested a sun should be. "Ah yes, a sun would be perfect! PRECIPITATION? RAIN?!" HE WAS FLATTERED. "Maybe we should add rain in the other side of the corridor--an illusion of rain maybe... some people don't like to get soaked!--for reasons I do not know! For RAIN is a beautiful gift from Nature..." That last sentence could have worked both ways! He pointed his wand at the ceiling and his other hand up--almost looking like a music conductor now, muttered a spell under his breath, and slowly, ever so slowly, started conjuring the Bleeding Hearts on the ceiling one by one. Rain glanced at Cedric, still conjuring the plants. "Ahh Cedric, yes, will you please charm them to be all illuminated? I was never so perfect with my charms... Careful now!" Rain then turned towards Gilbert and grinned, pointing to the empty space of the corridor with his other hand. "Add the sun over the, lad! Make it look like it shined from the Heavens! SHINE! BRIGHTLY!" He then took a look at the other man with more suggestions! "It smells quite lovely right now, though!" The giant man took an inhaaaaaaale, but decided to trust the others' noses because well... "Oh alright! Conjure some of those dianthuses right now then! AND OH! A FOUNTAIN! SHINING FROM THE SUN! That would look..." he almost teared up imagining the beauty "...LOVELY!" Finishing up the Bleeding Hearts, he updated the list. Quote:

Ryu walked up to this corridor like Rafael told him to. In his hand was the location and the person's name he's going to work with or rather, who's going to give him the work. Upon reaching the said destination he stopped and he can smell that awful, rigid smell. Is anyone else smelling this? ACK. But nevertheless, he is here for work. He didn't expect he'd be living in a 5 star hotel now? "I'm looking for Mr. Rain" Well that's the name he is told to see. Rafael told me to come here and see if i could help with anything?" he looked at the place. |
Rufin walked out into the corridor and looked around, there was a man that seemed to be running things and he walked over, smiling. "Hello. Are you Rain? I'm Rufin Stewart, I'm new here. Rafael told me to come and find you." He looked around, it seemed they were decorating, brilliant! Maybe he could get a little animal influence on some of it... |
Drago chuckled as he walked up on the decorations. My, how bland. He looked about the corridor curiously, taking in what they had already been working on. "Have vines been discussed yet? Easy to hang and decorate, and there is quite a variation for them. On the plain side, ivy, grapes, berries of all sorts. There are even thornless blackberries. There are those with drooping flowers, those with roses... Actually, there is the climbing blue angel rose, if we want something unique." Aside from his own creations, of course. However, he was not willing to risk those being trampled upon. |

He grinned. "I have an idea, hang on." he took his wand from it's holster and muttered "Accio Marbles". A small bag of marbles flew in from the environmental department and landed in Rufin's open hand. "Marbles. Always good for little charms and things, I always carry some around." he explained, he knew he sounded odd but they kept his pets entertained, and even some of his plants. He tipped a marble into his palm and pointed his wand at it. "Rana Verto" The little red marble morphed into a tiny red dart frog. Rufin smiled as it hopped from his palm to the tip of his wand and back again. "Like the real thing but totally harmless, and not as clever." he explained as the frog repeated it's journey from palm to wand to palm to wand to palm over and over again. "I could make a lot of these for the fountain, put some of the magical creatures influence into it, we wouldn't want them to feel left out." he said, grinning his wide smile and putting his wand away. The frog looked dumbstruck for a moment before realising that wrist to fingertip was just as much fun. Rufin ran his wand hand through his dark, curly hair and turned back to Rain, waiting for the opinion of his new colleagues. |

Finally. "I am Mr. Rain!" He said proudly, beaming at the man. Mister? The title made him blush and he was filled with the exotic feeling of leadership. "Yes, you must help. We're decorating this corridor right now, you know--make it livelier like it should be. Plants, statues, just take a look at the list. SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME!" Quote:
He got out his wand and was ready to write down more suggestions. Quote:
Yes! Quote:
Inanimate to animate transfiguration? Never a specialty of Rain. Thank Merlin this man was part of his team. "I love it. You must incorporate that idea when we put up the fountain. I don't think I've rejected a suggestion yet--THEY'RE ALL WONDERFUL!" He sobbed, wiped a tear, and then went back to work. "We still need the creature statues, guys. Any suggestions? Hippogriffs? Unicorns? What do you think? I'll start making the Mother Nature statue... Oh don't look at me if I tear up from her beauty! Please! Does anyone want to volunteer on making the design for the fountain? Hmm?" Quote:

Drago, disturbed by the thought of rainbow flowers, poised mose of =his attention to Rain. Quote:

Rufin nodded, smiling widely. HE LOVED HIS NEW JOB! He flicked his wand at the little red frog and turned it back into a marble, putting it back into the bag. He turned to the door and raised his wand waving it along the wall and muttering under his breath, a small vine began to appear around the door. Followed by a second just above. Once the plain vines were in place he began to flick at even intervals, alternating between the vines. Little white flowers began to bloom where his wand tip had touched the vines: roses, tulips, pansies- as many diffferent flowers as he could think of. As the flowers bloomed they began to develop different colours, eventually being a tie-dye rainbow colour. Rufin smiled at his creation and wondered what else he should do to them. "Another layer..?" he asked. Looking over to the others. |

"But they aren't... real. Plants, real plants, have a sense of beauty because they are delicate. The state of these bits of magic say nothing of love, and are little better than sparkling pendants." He looked at Rufin, and some of the passion with which he spoke finally met his eyes, though his expression was otherwise still unreadable. "When you enter a garden, you are not just looking at a bunch of pretty flowers. You are looking at time, dedication, love, and care. Every blossom is a testament to the heart of the person who planted and cared for it until it became this thing of glory. These... unnatural things, are made for a party or a show. But to fill this corridor with real plants and blossoms will bring to it the warmth of every heart that is willing to care for them." |

Merlin! Gilbert could, quite possibly, sit there and listen to Rain speak all day long. The man was one with nature! He was so with nature that he could be Mother Nature himself! You know, if Mother Nature was a man. Father Nature, now that was more like it. Silently dubbing Rain this Father Nature, Gibby nodded his head as he was told to do. Make the sun shine bright and have an illusion of rain at the other end. The corridor was going to look AMAZING! Especially with everyone else's ideas. The same ideas that he might not have heard because he was too busy wheeling himself down the corridor. But, despite not hearing them idea, he KNEW they would all be good. Rain, Father Nature, would not allow any bad ideas. Once he had reached the end of the corridor, Gibby drew his wand, and pointed it at the spot he had decided would be perfect. With a few swishes, flicks, and some muttered spells, the sun began to appear and..it was beautiful! He turned around in his chair to see if Rain saw his masterpiece of a sun. "We need some stunna shades!" Because that sun was BRIGHT! But of course, there was no time for that. With one last glance towards the sun, Gilbert began wheeling himself to the other end of the corridor. He had to make it rain. |
It was possible that putting Rain in charge of this group wasn't his wisest idea. ... Very possible. Rafael looked around at the decorations, and... enchanted sun. Erica was gonna FLIP, and he'd have to deal with her. Sigh. "... Rain." Why are you guys making a forest in the corridor??? |
Look at how everyone was working. It was splendid! Rainbow was PROUD! There were plants everywhere, even a sun, a couple of fake animals, and the view, as he claimed it, was curing those old, poor eyes of his! He took a deep inhale and just enjoyed the corridor. There was nothing but nature! The man could feel the tingly-feeling inside that soul of his... MOTHER NATURE! How he dramatically grabbed a hankie from his pocket and blew his nose. How the tears pouring out of his lucky eyes of his... was too much. HIS EYES WERE RED--WITH PASSION! Rain was done with the statues, and almost everything else that he'd assigned to himself; the Mother Nature statue he was very much pleased with. She was embroidered with plants and her arms were outstretched so that ALL THE LOVE around the world would forever be never-ending! All who walk through this corridor would just be blessed by her almighty powers. His admiration and awe was distracted by none other than Boss Man himself! He quickly pranced over to him. "IT'S BEAUTIFUL, ISN'T IT?!" "Here have a tissue, I'm quite sure you'll be brought to tears too!" |
Right. Rafael took the tissue and slipped it into his pocket, dark eyes on the man he'd left in charge of all of... this. It didn't take him long to decide that he didn't want to be around when Erica saw this... he had more important things to deal with than that woman. "This is... impressive, Rain." Obviously some of them could be in their climate control department if he needed them to be. "Don't worry about finishing the rest," He flicked his wand at the board containing the ideas and banished them to his office. "I'll have them looked over and then we'll finish working on them. Right now I'd like all of you to return to the work rooms." Giving the teary-eyed man a small nod, he turned and headed to his office. |
Thank Merlin... He glanced at Rafael with a relieved look and followed his command to return to what he was doing. |
Derek made his way to the level 4 quite reluctantly. He didn't like this whole talking to people thing, and he was wondering why people from the Environmental Department hadn't responded to his message yet. Weird. The Interdepartmental Memos didn't usual fail. He sighed and kept walking through the corridor. He wasn't exactly sure about where he should go and who he should talk to, but he had to start somewhere... He glanced at the doors as he walked through the corridor. |
Honey wandered around. Around and around and around. She had no idea what she was doing, so maybe she should ask? No. That would be stupid. Hmm. Honey paced around some more and spotted someone who looked quite lost and confused.. Being her helpful self, she decided to try and help him. Honey approached the man, who looked a little older than herself and asked him, "Can I help you at all, you look a little lost." |
Quote:
Was that a girl walking around? Why was she doing that? Derek raised an eyebrow as she came to him and asked if she could help. Well... she seemed to be as confused as himself about what to do now, so he wasn't sure if she could "help him at all". "Um..." He started, looking around. "I sent a Memo earlier today about a little explosion in Newcastle and haven't got any responses yet..." Derek was sure the Environmental Department should know about this AND actually do something. Wasn't Newcastle a green city or something? "I'm sure people from this Department should know about this and... well, do something." Simple enough, no? |
Quote:
Now then, Honey had absolutely no idea what he was on about, but she tried to help him nonetheless. "Well, I've only just here a half hour ago, but perhaps someone else received it earlier and are doing something about it." Helpful? I think not.. |
