It wasn't good to sit in the office for too long, Harmony decided, and so the red head had gone out for one of her walks. She liked to wander around the department, checking on her employees and making sure the creatures had everything they needed. It was calming in that her mind was always at ease when she returned to her desk, knowing everything was under control.
As she headed out towards the reception area with a flyer on positive vibes to add to the bulletin board, she heard someone saying her name. Hm.
"Hello Sir," She said serenely, wandering up to his side. "I'm Harmony Skylark."
Zach turned around to face where the voice came from and saw a lovely woman. He sighed and cleared his throat and responded. He extended his hand to shake her hand.
"Good, day! I am Zach McMillan from the Minister's Office." he said in a calm and nice tone.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. McMillan." And what brought him to Magical Cr- OH. "You're here to ask me some questions, aren't you?" She'd completely forgotten about their meeting but no matter, he was here now.
Zach smiled as the Department head seemed to measure him up. She looks very lovely, he had to admit. He smiled at her because she seemed to forgot that he sent her a memo earlier in the week.
"Yes, I do have some questions for you" he said with a smile because he sensed a small confusion in her voice before and then something seemed to click and she remembered his purpose. "Is there a quiet place where we can talk?" he continued.

Zach was happy that the Department Head was hands-on to everything. He was about to follow the lovely lady when a silver light flowed towards then and when his eyes adjusted, he saw a figure of a dolphin swimming towards the Department Head.
Zach listen intently to the words that was spoken, he knows that voice. It was from the Madame Primpernelle's shop. He looked at the Department Head and said, "We can reschedule the meeting if you want." he said with a smile.

So they could reschedule? Harmony let a smile tug the corners of her lips upwards and she reached out to shake his hand once again, grateful that he wasn't cross about their meeting being disrupted. "That would be brilliant, thank you." And she owed him some hummus for this little fail of a meeting, yeah? "If you want, I can head down to your office once I've sent some of my employees to Diagon Alley?" Would that work for him?

With mention of mutants involved in the troubles around the ministry, Simon knew Level Four was a priority on top of Level One. So he had reshuffled a few things and began to focus there. He made his way through the lifts through the appropriate department space and stepped off onto the floor once the door opened up to deposit him at his destination. The auror paused through a corridor and into what had to be the reception area, a spot mirrored by most departments, and took a good look around. Nothing seemed totally amiss from where he stood, but there had been rumors so he wasn't going to think everything was a-okay here just yet.
There was still plenty of places left to explore. The young man moving further into the department, taking a chance and heading in the direction he would need past the receptionist.

"Working on going over each level for anything suspicious and worth looking into. And given what I've heard about mutants and memos and such, Level 4 was next on my list."

Simon was aware of the scrutiny he had been given before the handshake but didn't comment. Whatever she thought didn't hinder her eventual response so all was well...for now at least. "And you as well...Harmony," he answered, tentatively chosing her first name since she had in turn chosen to use his own.
It was his turn to listen as the woman explained what had transpired in her department...neigh...in her own office shortly before he had made his way to Level 4, his gaze momentarily flashing to follow her gesture to the room in question. If only he had been quicker in his movements, but then he could have missed something critical in his last stop so it was a dicey attempt at balancing time and effort. He was only one person after all. "It was re-caught?" he checked, though her demeanor seemed to hint at that fact. One needed to be sure in case the woman was just naturally calm about these types of situations.
She was creatures head after all.
And wait...she had mentioned the mutants being their charges?!
Strange people.
"Yes, I was told there had been multiple sightings," he said with a nod, confirming her own sources. "Though so far, I've managed not to find anything myself." His latest chance being the closest.
As soon as she got the message that Mutant X had been recaptured, Jade headed down to Magical Creatures. She needed to see what new information she could get out of him. She had a feeling that he might be the key to why there were all kinds of mutants running around the ministry.
As she entered the reception area, she smiled at the secretary and showed her credentials before continuing to the creature holding room.

As long as it managed to stay in the containment area which may or may not have been what it had originally escaped from in the first place. Now if there was more, they would be dealt with in their own time, when they were in fact traced and found.

With an affirmative answer, Simon stood relieved as he was not in the mood to have to explain to Emily that he had been given trouble. Even if she was assured him the department would get the grief not him. The auror couldn't be so sure "Of course," he said agreeing to the rule, " I wouldn't want to make anything worse." And even if it hadn't been connected to the trouble that brought him here in the first place, it was a bequest from a department head, so there was no way that he would go against it.
"I shall leave you to that. Though if, Merlin forbid, anything else happens there that needs assistance, you'll know where to find me for the time being." Simon would be willing to help if that was the case, though for now, he simply nodded and turned, moving off to head into the work area, taking her instructions as both permission and dismissal.

Ok so Cale didn't really know where to bring this...THING, but he figured HERE was a good place to start. He was carrying the donut box in his hands, a Sticking Charm keeping it nice and secure. He'd poked some air holes in the top so the little rat thing could breathe, and judging from all the squirming it was doing running around from corner to corner of the box, it was doing just fine.
He stood there and...waited. Awkwardly. Someone take this from him!

He was pretty sure he'd seen this woman before, and had a gut feeling she was the level department head as well. He hadn't really gotten around to meeting them all yet. Whoops.
Well, in his defense, there had been mutant rats and downpours on his level!
"So, this...thing was running around our break room and we think it might...belong here?" he said, holding out the donut box for her. "It's not really...well, a real thing, if that makes sense. More like a mix of things. Definitely a rat thrown in there, and maybe something else but...just look. I thought I'd come here, can't think of anywhere else to bring it honestly..." he said, pushing the donut box at her again.

The red head positively BEAMED at him, accepting the donut box and peeking under the lid. "Yes...yes this is good." That he'd returned the mutant to them so it would be provided proper care.
"Thank you so much for delivering it to us, Cale. These poor dears have been sighted all over and we've been keeping several in our holding room. Dear I say, I think this one will be pleased to have some more leg room!" BEAM!

"ONE? There's MORE of them?" Cale asked, looking around him anxiously as if he expected a great herd of them to run out at any moment. Oh right. They were probably locked up. So this WAS an experiment or something? Whatever, he didn't care, he was rid of it! That was what mattered!
"Of course. Glad we could help. I'm sure he'll be much happier here than our room, where it's...well, raining," he said with a sigh. UGH. He'd forgotten about that for a moment. Damn.

"More, yes." Poor man seemed terribly startled about this and all Harmony could do was smile reassuringly at him. "They'll be fine, the creatures. As will the ministry." People seemed to be aware of problems that were occurring and the red had faith in the other departments that they were on the case, just like her own was with these mutants.
"Raining." That was interesting. "Hope that'll be sorted soon. I have an umbrella in my office if you need one." Sharing was caring after all.
